Even though I have moved to a different channel (INNERLMNT, if you're wondering), I still feel a responsibility to keep this one up to date since either my feelings on these old videos have changed a lot, or the historical circumstances on them have changed. You can go to most of my videos here right now and find out that the descriptions have some sort of addendum to them. This is partly because the algorithm can favor old videos if they get enough attention, partly because I still feel a connection to these older videos and want to preserve them with a more updated context, and partly because I want to bridge the gap between this channel and my current one for those who are watching videos on both.
“Here’s to never growing up” Has a parallel to “Dipper and Mabel vs the Future” Mabel is upset that they have to leave Gravity falls and go to high school as a teen. So Mabel never wants to grow up
That's a very good question. I empathize with these struggles more in retrospect, but also realize how much less experienced children are. These kids are stuck with trauma for life and need a therapist. It also puts Mabel's silliness into better perspective. It must be really cool for positivity to come naturally to her, but also a big challenge when faced with the supernatural and potentially world-ending circumstances of Gravity Falls. Also, you just start relating to the different (read: adult) characters more. Stan's always been my favorite character though, so no changes there.
