He was very "normal" but my grandfather Marian died in Dachau. The same as his brother Edmund, who was a priest. Both were murdered by orders of this "normal" man.
He mentioned this in terms of the personal aura of the person, not in terms of his actions. I saw another interview where Misch described his first encounter with Hitler and thought (paraphrased) "So *that* is Hitler? Now hundreds of Hitlers can come, I won't be initimidated or impressed."
Why do you have english titles on the videos if you don't offer any eng subtitles!? This is the case frequently if not always with your channel! So annoying.
Denial for what? He was a soldier, got wounded and was sent to Hitler's entourage as a telephonist until the end. Captured by the Russians, tortured to the point of trying to kill himself and only released after Stalin died.

I’m just gonna say this. He didn’t know the exact details of the Holocaust until after the war in 1953 following his release from soviet labor camps and interrogation. Hitler didn’t discuss it with him, and he was never present in the rooms when Hitler was discussing it. The papers he ran to and from were enclosed documents he didn’t read much less he risk execution. The only mention of camps he read was when the Red Cross visited one for political rivals and deemed it good conditions for a prison.
@Flow 95 so? on what base would you judge him and put him to prison? just your moral feelings? according to noam chomsky every american president after the war would have deserved the death sentence on nuremberg trial principles, so maybe you start there instead of accusing telephonists who just happen to work in hitler entourage.

why is this man out of prison??
He spent 9 years in a Russian Gulag. He was effectively a telephone operator after getting wounded in 1939...
@@robotsonmars1989Why should he be in prison? What crime did he commit that should land him there?

None of these people ever show remorse. Lack of remorse is a major component of evil. Another being denial.
Denial for what? He was a soldier, got wounded and was sent to Hitler's entourage as a telephonist until the end. Captured by the Russians, tortured to the point of trying to kill himself and only released after Stalin died.
@ZoomerRoller being a nazi should be enough to feel remorse, hatred against jews, poles etc, or maybe you ll deny what happened in concentration camps
Why should they feel remorse over made up atrocity propoganda? Soap? Lampshades? Electric floors? Lmao
Shut up dick head. Maybe hes peoud of his history And dont give a shit what nerds like you think.

Why wasn't this guy prosecuted for war crimes?
He knew what was happening!
Was he at Auschwitz or any other camp? Was he involved in the planning of either the Holocaust or the war? Being a bodyguard is hardly a war crime
