it's one of 3 sleeper trains in the UK, there's this one the night riviera and the 2 caledonian sleeper services, the highlander and lowlander services. 6 sleeper trains run most night, 1 of each service each way. The caley sleeper services serve 4 destinations and the journeys to london start at the 4 destinations and reform into the 2 sets going south

Went to visit a mate at the bottom of Cornwall last year and accidentally went on the Night Riviera with a standard seat. Can confirm genuinely the worst 8 hours of my life.
If GWR refurbished the stock to Mk5s, allow for single seats where you can sleep without a cabin. Caledonian Sleeper, £40 was the cheapest to London Euston from Stonehaven. If you’re tired, sleep anywhere…without a pricy trip.
It's the only sleeper that terminates in England but you can do the Lowland Sleeper from London to Carlisle too which from memory departs Euston at 2345 with an ETA of about 0530 in Carlisle although the actual train goes on to Edinburgh and Glasgow splitting at Carstairs Junction .
There is another sleeper in the UK that departs from Euston that goes to Fort William, Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow they run Sunday to Friday and depart at 20:20 on Sunday and weekdays it is 21:15 that’s the highland one they split at Edinburgh the other one departs on a Sunday at 21:30 and weekdays it is 23:45
But this isn't England's only sleeper train. Yes it the ONLY one that operates purely in England but its NOT the ONLY sleeper train in england. There is a caladonian sleeper, which operates between London and Scotland.
You should do the Caledonian Sleeper from London Euston to Glasgow Central and north of Scotland. And not to mention Lumo from London King’s Cross to Edinburgh Waverley.
Just one thing, the ticket is loads cheaper if you book it in advance. The cabin supplement thing is as little as £64 (£32 for 2 if applicable) if you’re like 12 weeks in advance

funny thing is Pie the GWR sleeper goes all the way to Penzance and is not the only sleeper in england there is 2 northbound from London Euston to Scotland and 2 southbound sleepers
I feel like the other sleeper though is Scotland to England right so it’s technically Britain which I why I went England in the title just to mix it up a bit.
I know I’m not the only person whose said it but the Caledonian sleeper exists going through Scotland down the west coast to London Euston which i think would be good to check out and you can compare the 2 and rate which one you think is better based on certain categories
