    Indigenous Rights
    Indigenous peoples’ rights are protected in international human rights documents as well as domestic law, but are regularly rendered ineffective by powerful interests and countervailing legal provisions. Understanding under what conditions protective laws for indigenous peoples are effective and transformative, has been a central question in LawTransform research. To mark the 10-year anniversary, we ask what research frontiers socio-legal scholars should address in the next decade relating to indigenous rights.
