Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
On January 24th, I decided to head back out for some more railfanning. I decided to head out to the northern part of the NS AGS North District, but, as I was heading east out of Gurley on US 72, I saw that NS had something lined east through Asa. As such, I turned-on my scanner and hear 288 calling Brock, so I decided to head over to this crossing to catch it. Here, I was able to catch my first train of the day: NS 288 with a pair of AC44C6Ms for power flying through Woodville right about sunrise.
Since I last filmed this crossing, NS replaced the gate lights here on the closer signal with a set of NEG LED gate lights. Thankfully, nothing else seems to have changed to this crossing.
