There’s probably a reason why Jesus said you will know my disciples by their fruit; anyone can learn and teach doctrine, the sobriety comes at the investigation- “and coming to the tree he found no fruit on it”.

Brother Shade, Your last two lessons closely followed the model of James 3:17 - “The wisdom from above is peaceful and gentle.” The BBC accuser of you would do well to heed 2 Timothy 2:24 -“The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.” The first century religious elite accused Christians as being heretics according to Acts 24:14- But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets. Wow! Behaving the way we're supposed to behave is a very long road to follow, and we're still going to die on way. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing Jesus forgives. I felt kind of hit with a hammer by this one. But we all should.
@@ShadeStoneMusic It reminds me that so many of our sins are driven by uncontrolled feelings. I am blessed in that my feelings tend to run cold. It is harder to ovoid sinning when our angry feelings tend to explode. Peace on Earth is for every minute, not just now and then.❤
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Maybe we can be in unity with God, help Him so to speak, in seeing this verse fulfilled. Here on this awesome earth that he made for us and gave to us. Lets not be the cause of anyone's pain or sorrow or crying. Lets stop condemning others to death, we all know what I mean by this. Lets lift each other up, after all we are new creations. The former things have passed away. Lets keep those things dead.

Not a suggestion just a thought. It's something that I often get asked and I think it would be cool. Love btother keep it up.
'Cruelty' is different from person to person. Our 'kindness' can be seen as 'Cruelty'. Some say cussing is allowed, but that cursing is not.. I think that all negativity is wrong, even cussing. We must keep our hearts pure. ❤
Thank You for sharing. And Yes, there are going to be 'grey areas'; but overall, we should have a decent picture of what 'cruelty' is. I think it's a good idea to keep the ugly words to a minimum.
Good message, we need to put love, faith, etc...first, so faith working through love, then its fine to debate and discuss doctrine, but do so having the foundation correct, something I am sure we all need to work on. I would suggest at least 😁
In Short, that God reconciled the world to Himself through Christ in the first century. (2 Cor 5:18-19) Essentially, God saved mankind by keeping His promise, & we are positioned in His reconciliation according to His judgement of our works. Thank You for asking!
@@ShadeStoneMusic Thank you for your responses! What is your thought on salvation being a supernatural work of God? Was that only for the believers in the first century or would that be something that applies to believers now?
@@childofgrace1234 ...Great Question! This one I am still 'wrestling with'. So this is not a 'permanent position'; but I will share where I am at with this right now. The 'reconciliation' was a supernatural work of God through Christ. That was succeeded in the first century. The continuance of 'salvation positionally' is where our part of faith, hope & love comes into play.
Salvation applies to all people. People who have accepted Jesus come into his community and are in heavenly places. Everything else will continue after earthly life in his spiritual kingdom for eternity! Blessings

Look at what God suffers from us each day... for us to get indignant with someone who treats us like crap is actually thinking mire if ourselfes than Yeshua thought of Himself... if that makes sense.
I'm not sure why...but this comment brought the thought of the Scripture in Matthew 11:25-26: I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
Yes. And David committed adultery and murdered the innocent husband. Ultimately, I suggest that someone 'doing something' doesn't mean that it meets God's approval.
and Jesus overturned the ables. and given that God this occured immediately after Elijah mocked the prophets, I'd say ya he had God's approval when he did that. "And they limped around the altar that they had made. 27And at noon Elijah mocked them, saying, “Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.” 28And they cried aloud and cut themselves after their custom with swords and lances, until the blood gushed out upon them. 29And as midday passed, they raved on until the time of the offering of the oblation, but there was no voice. No one answered; no one paid attention. 30Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” And all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that had been thrown down. 31Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord came, saying, “Israel shall be your name,” 32and with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord. And he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two seahsa of seed. 33And he put the wood in order and cut the bull in pieces and laid it on the wood. And he said, “Fill four jars with water and pour it on the burnt offering and on the wood.” 34And he said, “Do it a second time.” And they did it a second time. And he said, “Do it a third time.” And they did it a third time. 35And the water ran around the altar and filled the trench also with water. 36And at the time of the offering of the oblation, Elijah the prophet came near and said, “O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that you are God in Israel, and that I am your servant, and that I have done all these things at your word. 37Answer me, O Lord, answer me, that this people may know that you, O Lord, are God, and that you have turned their hearts back.” 38Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench"

The BBC accuser of you would do well to heed 2 Timothy 2:24 -“The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.”
The first century religious elite accused Christians as being heretics according to Acts 24:14- But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets.
Bless your godly attitude.
Thank you for your godly example of displaying the fruits of the spirit.
All our brotherly love from Brother Jack & Sister Birgie
I can't thank the two of you enough. When I receive confirmation from my Brother Jack and my Sister Birgie, I know I'm on the right track. I also greatly appreciate the Scriptures you shared; perfectly applied!
Fantastic, thank you
You are welcome! Thank You for the kind words.
Wow! Behaving the way we're supposed to behave is a very long road to follow, and we're still going to die on way. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing Jesus forgives. I felt kind of hit with a hammer by this one. But we all should.
Forgiveness is the key my good brother. I always appreciate your honesty in your posts. Thank You!
@@ShadeStoneMusic It reminds me that so many of our sins are driven by uncontrolled feelings. I am blessed in that my feelings tend to run cold. It is harder to ovoid sinning when our angry feelings tend to explode. Peace on Earth is for every minute, not just now and then.❤
@@jeffkooistra264 Love this Bro!
An amazing commentary and encouragement. Thank You!!
@@ShadeStoneMusic Well Christ didn't call down fire from heaven on people when he was reviled, he rebuked those who called for this measure of fire. We should follow his steps. On both counts.
Great discourse. Thanks.
Hey brother I couldn't agree more with what you're saying.I hope I'm not to forward but I would love to see you do a lesson on what Agape looks like for the normal everday person. I know you show how it's not being vindictive, judgemental, arrogant, revieling etc. and 100 percent right on! However I'm speaking more to the proactive things that we should do. Not a suggestion just a thought. It's something that I often get asked and I think it would be cool. Love btother keep it up.
That is a great thought. I will have to think about how to present that. Ya got my wheels turning Brother!
I always appreciate your suggestions Bro!
If I may ask, Mr. Stone, what is your soteriology?
Blessings
@@markusmustermann1265 Do you mind explaining this? I’m not sure I understand the second part of your statement regarding those who are not in the community of God. If one believes in Jesus, they are in God’s community. If one does not believe in Jesus, what happens to them? I’m trying to understand in light of what Mr. Stone said. Thanks!
I am new to RUclips and how it works. How can I donate to your ministry ? Can’t figure this out. Thank you.
Hello Sister! Thank You so much. You can join as a member here on youtube. You click on the "Join" button...it's right next to the subscribe button under the video...it will offer three tiers with three price points. You pick the tier that you are most comfortable with. Pop in your card number. Confirm it and that's it. You can cancel at anytime. Let me know if that works for you. Thank You in advance!
@@ShadeStoneMusic is there an address I can send a check directly and not go through RUclips? I’m getting this information for my son. He is the one that wants to donate to your ministry. He asked me to figure it out. Thanks. Maggie
@@MaggieB-e6q ...Thank You Sister. Feel free to pass my email on to your son and we can work something out: shadestonemusic@hotmail.com
I would suggest that Christians aren't known by their fruit, as we don't produce fruit, as the branches we actually bear the fruit that the vine which is Christ produces in us through the Spirit of love.
Like Mary who did not produce Jesus, she bore Jesus!
Personally i hold to tbe words that Jesus said in how the world will know us, which is by love!
John 13:35
"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Great lesson brother Stone, thank you for these teachings
I love this message and I thank you for posting this.
Sorry to bother you again after you answered me. I literally cannot find any button that says join next to the subscribe button or anywhere on the screen for that matter. I am working on it. I also sent you a text asking for an address or someplace that my son could send a check directly to you and not through RUclips. If there is anyway to do this, please let me know. Maybe you have a post office box or something. Thanks, Maggie
If you would like to email me...we I'm sure can work something out. Thank You so much for your efforts. My email is: shadestonemusic@hotmail.com
Amen! Just a thought. The Jews hated the Samaritans more than Gentiles and the Samaritans were none to fond of the Jews either. Yet who was the friend, neighbor and brother?
The higher call Bro!
💯❤
Couldn't watch for more than a few minutes due to long commercials that did not give me an option to skip. I enjoyed the first few minutes however. 😕
Sorry for the inconvenience; maybe try watching tomorrow; I'm guessing youtube doesn't load the advertising as much every time.

Thank You for appreciating that one. LOL (Your son's sense of humor is rubbing off on me! LOL)
@@ShadeStoneMusic I think you do well in that department all on your own! 😂
@@ShadeStoneMusic Amen, my brother.
And Elijah mocked the prophets of Baal.
Lol! I love being a heretic, but then again I like using the actual definition of words. Lol
LOL! You are certainly not one that easily gets offended! LOL!

Just a caution as respecter of persons is out of context.
I don't think so. Peter also says this exact term in Acts 10:34. The context there is also that God doesn't show favoritism.
