    Beautiful! Thank-you!
    I think that one priority is to stop the upstairs water ingress: if not, black mould in the seats will be, I expect, endless.
    I hope that you have a good trip 'down home'.

    Fantastic video Steve! The offside ding near the roof dome is usually from automatic bus washes where drivers don't crawl into the wash, instead drive into it and the top of the bus brushes smack the bodywork, similar to hitting low trees on the nearside. You'll also find that the front logo is off centre because the logo is in slanted/italic letters, so visually they've offset it so it appears in the centre. I'd love to have a chat to you if you get chance!

      thanks and yep that sounds about right re the dent.And yes you are right- the bottom of the first letter is the same distance from the edge as the top of the last letter!

    If any leaks around the pump .. the new diesel drys the seals out , so dont be surprised if you need to get the pump done up . Additives around to add to the fuel . I have used a tiny bit of auto trans fluid in the diesel once to sort out a hilux pump for a while .

    Bus is looking sharp now. Amazing what all these small tasks add up to in making the vehicle feel in such better shape than before.
    BTW could you give the paint code for that green? I have A Leyland rear hubcap I'm tidying up and want to use that green!

    Hi Steve from the UK, really enjoying the progress. Have you tried using a gloss roller (sponge) rather than an ordinary fluffy one? I roller painted my old Austin and found them to be better and keep their shape, keep up the good work, Graham

    • @stevestufff
      @stevestufff  3 месяца назад +1

      @@Crashgate4 hi Graham thanks for watching! Yes I tried foam rollers on the Merlin and found that they left small bubbles in the finish. The rollers I use now are designed to give a high gloss finish, however they do degrade quickly. I go through a lot of them!

    you'd be surprised where the water could be coming from - and where it will wick to ...... we chased one for ages - ended up coming from the second nearside window back on the top deck and ended up dripping out of the desto box above the drivers windscreen
