Especially in the playoffs! They knew that's when Reggie really came to play. I watched every Pacers game of the 04 and 05 playoffs and the entire home crowd would stand up when he got the ball wide open
Class act. He is one of the top 5 players never to win an NBA Championship. Can you inagine a starting 5: PG: Stockton SG: Miller SF: Barkley PF: Malone (as much as I can't stand him, talent is talent) C: Ewing. THIS line-up would be a great addition to a title team.
As a Pacers fan I really believe that had Indiana won this series they would have beaten Houston. This Pacers team matches up very well against the Rockets.
No they wouldn’t. Hakeem would’ve averaged 40 and 20 against soft ass Smits. It would’ve been BBQ chicken all day for Hakeem. Shaq gave him a tougher matchup.
No team is superiour to have a chance in beating the ROCKETS. than only the KNICKS had the KNICKS beat INDIANA. THE KNICKS will beat the inexperience MAGIC in the ECF in six games. And we will have another classic rematch in 95 FINALS.. And I bet this time THE KNICKS have a chance
@@mrboo3049No they would not haha. Even by some miracle they comeback 3-1 vs the Pacers, they would’ve got destroyed by the Magic in the ECF. Patrick Ewing was hobbled playing on one knee the whole Pacers series and Shaq would’ve took advantage and DESTROY him. Plus that Magic team was loaded with more offensive weapons than the Knicks were with Penny, Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott and Horace Grant.
@@Theterminato2013 I disagree.. although you have a great point about EWING'S KNEE there.. but THE KNICKS have the advantage in playing Defense and playing rugged.. the problem is even pat Riley said in an interview..the PACERS were BATTLE TESTED READY for what INSTORE for them in their series because THE PACERS is on the verge for a revenge.so they are not truly expected that. Unlike THE MAGIC which is young they have the firepower with SHAQ and PENNY.. but they are easy to be exposed once the KNICKS played them rugged and physical. The PACERS on the other hand wasn't that too experience and still they gave ORLANDO a seven game series.. I assume THE KNICKS will beat the MAGIC in 6.. HORACE GRANT is only the lone veteran there too.. THE ROCKETS already exposed them in GAME 1
@Scratchin' Samurai The Rockets almost lost G1 because they were outrebounded by a wide margin. The rebounding margin was a lot smaller in G2 with them only being outrebounded by 3 and the Rockets outrebounded the Magic the last 2 games. The Rockets also had better transition defense throughout the series which showed in G1 too when they had the huge 3rd quarter run.
@Jermaine Durham The Magic were shooting the lights out in this series especially on their home floor they weren't shooting like that in the Finals particularly late in the game when it really mattered have to credit the Rockets defense which was pretty good.
@Jermaine Durham Shaq didn't really have a bad Finals, he played well enough it's just that he was matched up against Dream who averaged almost 33 so he got cancelled out pretty much.
Modern day comments call Reggie a 1 trick pony lol I'd you make a reel of some of his moves to the basket and who it was against those guys would shit themselves.
Reggie Miller is my favorite player of all time!
That makes 2 of us......and when he made the 75ALL TIME team was awesome
A three from Miller generates more energy than a Jordan dunk.
That crowd noise still gives me goosebumps.

Reggie used to own the state of Indiana. Market Square used to get LOUD.
4:08 Mark Jackson's awareness and accuracy will always be one of my favorite things about the mid-late 90s pacer teams. He was such an amazing PG
U should read Scottie's Pippen memoir Unguarded. He compared Mark Jackson to Magic Johnson in the '98 series when they played the Pacers
It was a magical duo Reggie and Rik
Luv Reggie Miller!
I would pick Reggie over Curry!
Me too!
When Reggie is on target with the threes, it’s all she wrote.
My man....Reggie !!! a pure assassin !!!
Reggie was dominating the 90's from the 3. Nobody like him! 👍

Sometimes players can't win championships because the other team were better.
@@hectorlopez1069 totally agree!
the greatest!!!
Those Indiana crowds in the 90s were insane, don't the pacers still playbin the same arena? Doesn't feel the same.
No they moved to Conseco Field House starting in the 99-00 season until now.
Reggie Miller was a GREAT, GREAT PLAYER !!!
A great player of the 90s with the pacers.
I had no favorite in which team I wanted to win because Penny and Miller were 2 of my all time favs.
Great game by Reggie Miller
28 in the first half. Damn.
Happy belated birthday Reggie turned 56 on Tues

thanks but what a pity only 5 minutes of this game !!! In this good quality don't you have the entire game ?
Too bad Orlando won this series.
Orlando played good. Then, they were tortured by the rockets.
Pacers vs Rockets would had been a better 1995 NBA Finals matchup two veteran teams, more evenly matched wouldn't had been a swept.

@Jermaine Durham The way Dream was playing especially in the WCF series matched up against the Admiral I don't think so.
@Jermaine Durham Considering they didn't even get past the Magic...yeah not happening.

For Reggie there was no difference btwn a free throw n a 3pointer
Reggie Miller did went to the finals and Shaq would defeat him once again with the Lakers in 2000 NBA Finals.
My team
Indiana losing twice in the ECF in 94 and 95, so short of reaching the finals.
It was pretty obvious Orlando was gonna win G7 after being blown out here.
Go Magic pound the Pacers lol
Market Square was loud af

Reggie thought he deserved a foul call at 0:44 ? Really man? Come on.
Reggie destroyed the Magic
