I think these sound great! Interesting, because the Retro strings are not known to sound as good on a rosewood guitar as opposed mahogany. I would think the Luxe are closer to Retros than say Lifespans, but these work nicely with the D28. It’s like they are tonally in between phosphor bronze and Retro (monel). I’m gonna try em. 👍

And do they last as long as elixirs...nobody wants to do that test.

Any new guitar strings sound great. But the don't keep new sound too long
