When someone says VCR server, most don't think HoloPro. And those that do think of the regulars. Aruran, Towa, Matsuri, etc. But this time they've pulled an almost entirely fresh roster from among the Holomems. I tip my hat to Vaultroom and Crazy Raccoon. They're working to deliver a fun, diverse community that expands a little more every event, and it shows.
Im glad Lauren and Sisco's the one to pick Ayame and Anya. Lauren x Female Vtubers have the best vtuber moments and he treats them Frankly no holds bar. I'm also Surprised Ayame can join Lauren's style of humour(and even got his Mannerism lol).
That reminds me of Sora, when she played with others in the past. Many holo member saw (and still sees) her as someone very high ranked and they have a strong respect to her, so they were intimidated & scared to talk or interact with her. And I don't think they had a negative view or relationship to Sora. But from Sora's perspective everyone were very distant to Sora and very careful about how to treat Sora, even though she wanted to be treated like everyone else. Now it's much better and many interact with Sora normally. Still respectfully, but it's more close, especially everyone from Gen 0. It's good to see the parallel here, where Ayame is treated normally by non-hololive player :D
It's a bit funny cuz before holoX Sora was either the 2nd or 3rd youngest holomem at the time. Haachama being the youngest and Matsuri also talked about being around Haachama's age
Just look at how some people on the server react to Calli. While she certainly appreciates being recognised, it can be overwhelming at times. And unlike Ayame, she's far from being an introvert, so I completely understand how Ojou might feel joining the server (especially since she doesn't do a lot of big collabs in general, except for Valorant tournaments). It's nice to see Ayame come out of her shell a bit more thanks to that event, and I'm glad she joined the game alongside other Hololive members.

Calli is DEFINITELY an introvert. The first few hours of joining VCR RUST, she got easily overwhelmed just by being around so many people talking and didn't really join up with many people to chat or go do things. It wasn't until she ran into energy incarnate Amaki Pururu and she stuck around her until the social anxiety calmed down enough to where she was able to converse with people she didn't know. She may not come across as such, but Calli is shy and introverted as well.

People said gambling only bring trouble and 99% of gambler quit before they hit the jackpot. But in this case Ojou basically win. All this start because of gambling and fake debt lol. Her team is really nice and have the same vibe as her. Since she kinda like seiso (?) you could say, making weird joke could make it awkward for her like that one time one guy come to their base and ask for female member voice(recording) she just stop talking and run inside. Some other streamer that interact often with other streamer usually just make a joke about it but she is not that familiar with it. Thank god Lauren read the room and turn down the guy.

VCR rust is honestly a blessing i love it too. Im happy they can interact with a lot other content creators and not need permissions for every little thing. Im watching bae a lot more. And all the other hololivers too. And youtube algorithm-kun also helps me out with a lot of clips~

I comment how I wish more gen 3 or earlier holomem would join VCR in a JP clip, and when I suggested Subaru, some JP replied that it's impossible because of her listeners/viewers. I didn't touch deeper on the reason though. Also, I found out how earlier than gen 3 are worried about their status when joining VCR because Matsuri had the same feeling like Ojou in the video, the first time she joined VCR (which was also RUST), on how they were worried on how others would treat/get along with them because they're from Hololive (other than their antis, they also have fans who possibly can be antis of others who got along with their idol), so I also think it's partially their personal worry holding them back.
well old idols custom are more tone down since west and east more mix in. there still few but not many like old times. and from what i know you can still play with opposite gender as long as not 1 on 1. if in group like this is okay but not in special collab tthat makes more (gachi or real).

Following Ayame footsteps into VCR event, it's surprised me how Ayame finally joined Laurent team (through Francisco scam) and there we are again showed classic Laurent & CR member antics, and Ayame become the victim of it (baptism) 😂😂😂 still, me and everyone were soooo glad that Ayame joined those team. she's laughing a lots. she have the time of her life. we are thankful for VCR 👏👏👏👏👏

Everything was okay, and he proceeded to act normally again afterwards, but you could tell he was nervous for a second there.
Usually when someone says "oh, you can just be here for moral support" it's considered a joke. But in all honesty, if I had Ayame around for just support, cheering me on and laughing, I would consider myself to be the happiest and luckiest man alive.
It's very nice to hear Ayame didn't feel any special or awkward treatment for being a member of Hololive. Everyone in this server is really nice and they're just being themselves, so it's easy for every to relax and have fun and treat anybody as any other. Thanks for the subs!
Going through what Ayame says here, I look back at how I grew to watch the girls with more peace of mind after spending quite the time closely watching entertainers who attract a more female audience, with my case being the Stars and the Starmin. Often, I felt like a poser, especially since I started my holofanboy journey through the girls, but it was also often that the one holding myself back there was my very own self and whatever presumptions I had about these more decent people I feared in a different way of dumbassery. Maybe there are people who call themselves Starmin who would shun me, but they're not the ones that my faith in others had to go to, and there are always good people I can believe in and will believe in me even if they're few. Watching Ayame strive to reach out and fit in there reminds me of that journey of mine, and her worries about being more a cheerleader even remind me of how I struggle with the feeling of wanting to prove myself as a fan by trying to be all grand about my support to these entertainers I like to watch. In short, this Ayame Nakiri moment is the purest and most potent piece of Nakirium I've ever gotten so far, and her signature laughter is a bonus.

I know her from her stream with 96Neko-chan but I never really watch her until her entanglement with Cisco and Lauren! I'm so glad she enjoyed herself and can laugh freely. Hello I am Japanese. I think that Hololive in Japan is considered as one of the two giants in the vtuber world with Nijisanji. However, the fan base is slightly different.
i kinda don't idol culture in korea and japan. sure the talents can interact with the opposite gender but the fans make it weird.
