As a medical student, I really like the name of this MV ' Phantom pain'.
According to medicine, phantom pain is pain that feels like coming from the part of the body that is no longer there. In other way, phantom pain is "pain for something that does not even exist".
In this MV too, the actor feels so painful for his girlfriend who does not exist anymore. He feels pain for someone who cannot even talk him back. This is just like phantom pain. BIG APPLAUSE FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED IN CREATING THIS MV INCLUDING OUR YESUNG.
I love how this is like internally sobbing. No intense high notes and it's perfectly reflecting the Phantom Pain you feel when someone is gone. Everything around you keeps going like nothing happened and you're just silently hurting.

This just seems so weird, but I have a dark theory, similar to the movie entitled "Doorlock". Yesung is the stalker of the girl and he kidnapped her (that's why he's keeping her at home). He deliberately made her unconscious. Then those flashback moments aren't really his memories but those are just a product of his own imagination. Sorry for the weird theory hahahha I love Yesung and his song btw
