I had this exact awning. Great coverage, very strong too. One thing to note: it's VERY heavy - close to 30kgs (probably more with mounting brackets). The sleeves where the bolts sit in, that you attach to your brackets, are pretty narrow. In my case, after just few months and because of the weight of this thing, they started to sheer on all 3 brackets. Not the brackets themselves, but the backbone of the awning where the bolts sit in those sleeves, they grip behind a very shallow ridge. I only found out because I took my awning off my roofrack, otherwise I imagine it would have come down at some point :/ It's a good product, good quality, just those bolts almost coming out due to how it's designed (and the weight) is a massive issue IMO.

I just checked mine mate and I’ve got no problems, have you sorted the awning out? Did you reach out to bushwakka as they have an awesome customer service representative which is very helpful! Thanks for pointing this out mate !

@@Seanparky01 believe it or not I think the velcro works the best, it’s strong Velcro, at first I was iffy but then I got it and I was amazed, it has held up in strong wind and torrential rain.

Interested to know what brackets you're using considering its a large awning on a dual cab & it will flex?

Hey mate, In the video, I mentioned the brackets I was using! However, I used the standard awning bracket on the front, and the adjustable awning bracket on the rear, I understand the cab flexes however it is needed to have the third bracket on the cab, as I did have it without the 3rd bracket and it moved around too much and sagged in the front due to it aswell! Hope this helps!

How much weather/rain comes in the gap between the ute and awning?
