That very first image is simply of modern China, isn't it? “The model” for modern Western criminals in the role of actual rulers in this Bizaroo world.

Yeah, what a CCP nightmare and yet, yet again, it's what all major power-movers of the West are at work right now to foirst upon the populations beneath them. Yeah, the Soviets are obviously a second, lesser template for this Capellan system. “Nominal authority of the parents”, huh?
Ahh, ha ha - Narrator, you got to it before I even mentioned it here, and you even went directly to posting it blatantly on-screen in your video: I immediately thought of “CBS”, with your explanation of the Capellan Broadcasting Service...the all-seeing eye, Big Brother loves you...”shoot your TV!”
I really like these futuristic cityscpae vistas you've included here, Narrator. I've long had several similar such images for years to use as desktop wallpapers yet I haven't ever come across any of these would-be cities.
This was an unexpected subject for the BattleTech universe in general but it was very interesting and 'entertaining' (as it were). Hopefully my comment isn't ghosted merely for posting what I'm posting' wouldn't be the first time. Thank you for another facet of your expansion of the societal side to BattleTech, GDN. I wish you an awesome and decidely anti-authoritarian week.
