I feel like this was a really careless review for a product that has very little exposure, this video has so many new eyes on a product. And to do the review the way that you did, without real effort is unfair to the person who made octocurl. Obviously damp hair would work better, and leaving it on longer. I think you should give it another chance.
I don't feel like you gave it a fair chance to be honest. :) I searched for some other videos on it, and when you use it with damp hair it seems to work pretty well.
They’re basically rag curls stuck to a headband to make it easier and more modern. As someone who has put rag curls in, and it took hours on long hair, this is a lot easier. With wet hair it’s full on ringlets.
Would love to see you test it on damp hair with the band placed under the top section of your hair to avoid the creasing... do you think it would work?🤔
My understanding of the directions is that you can refresh dry hair that has already been curled a in day 2 or 3. Meaning curl your hair using this when wet and then refresh them on day 2 or 3 while the hair is dry.
Your videos on heat protectants have blown me away. They were amazing. Since then I would like to know if you skip them, have thrown them away or still use them?
Back in the day way back my mom curled our hair like this with rags the ringlet curl would depend on the width and length of the rag and if your hair was wet damp or dry we had to sleep in them 🤣🥰🤗
I feel like this would have worked better if your hair was damp after a shower and then you slept on it all night and took them out. The material you're wrapping your hair around looks like a towel which makes me assume that moisture is somehow involved in the curling process. I think if anyone expects to get curls starting with dry hair and only blow drying each piece for a couple minutes to heat up the hair and then cool would be disappointed. I love your tutorial though and all of your content. I always wonder how certain things will work and I'm glad you review a lot of popular items.
Hi Milabu! 😊❤ I have a suggestion...you could try twisting the hair closer or on top of itself on the roller instead of having it twisted around with big spaces. Then half the roller and tie it off? Love your videos so much!! 💕
I feel like you can get a much better look by wearing a headband and wrapping your hair around it. I do that all the time on my long hair for overnight curls and it works great 🤷🏼♀️
I think if your hair is slightly damp before wrapping and you have the time to let if fully dry, the Octocurl might have worked pretty good?! Thanks for another awesome video! You’re the best and my favorite!
You hair is growing so fast...I think it looked better in the wrapped curls than when you too it down..lol Looked like a rag mop to me..lol You look so pretty...Love your makeup..Hugs Loretta
If you would let the hair a lil wet,or just sprinkle with water all over your hair,a couple sprays on your hair and then do the hair with those things, and after dry it with hair dryer, would look more curly, but doing curling your hair on a dry hair and on top drying more, would never do the right curls like when is a just a lil tiny bit wet:)
That was great look on you! Ha! I think braids is definitely the best and cheapest way to go! Thanks for helping me save money again!! You’re the best!
Hi Milana, loved your " hippy look" heatless curls video. Your make up looks great too. Out of all of the heatless tools you have tried do you have like a Top 5 . I'm looking to buy some I have shoulder length thick coarse hair and want something comfy but quick to sleep in
Well, might still be useful for girls who have trouble braiding because of layers and stuff. With a little spritz of water before and some warmth it would probably work quite well. Also: this could easily be diyed in a way, that the curls/waves would start higher up on the head. I would love to try, but I just cut off my hair. So why am I still watching these tutorials anyway? 😂
I put my hair in braids all the time. Could you explain how to get waves with a straightener? I tried twisting my hair and running it through my straightener and it didn't look right.
Milabu! Second time watching your channel and I love the vibe you give ,you’re so chill ,honest ,and very thorough . Looove love love your hair color I’ve been dying to have this hair color for so long ! -your new subbie
You are great! Have you tried The Sleep stylers? They are heartless curlers but the video I saw on RUclips was with a gal that had long and very thick hair...I have short fine hair and haven't tried them yet. Ps. I hope you got your money back on those curlers, man that was a disappointing result lol
You know what pretty lady? You have helped my creativity so much, I love braiding my hair and trying new things since the first video I've watched. Happy belated thanksgiving and hope your Xmas is great.. keep up the great work and again thank you. P.s. I always wonder if popular you tubers acually read the thousands of comments they get or if our messages just are here for the other you tubers though. Would you say hi to me on your next video? Lol just to make my life a little less boring over here? Haha if not I understand..
I think this would work wayyyyyyyy better on damp hair.

Can you try this product with damp hair please

Being that it's basically rag curls, I would imagine if you lightly misted them after wrapping, the end result would have been more defined
I think you should try this with damp hair to see what you hair will look like.
You said heatless but still use heat 😑
After seeing this video i had to try it!!! I love it on my natural curly hair!!!
Kimberly... so this is where you saw it first? Wow! Now you are spreading the word? Nothing but love for you! xoxo
Would love to see you test it on damp hair with the band placed under the top section of your hair to avoid the creasing... do you think it would work?🤔
Would have liked to have seen this if you put it in dry hair then lightly spritzed it after it was in.
I’d love to see this tested damp and overnight ☺️
Would love to see another try with this on damp hair. Love your videos. I’m Jill from NJ and been a subscriber for about 2 years now.
I do think using this product with damp hair would work better but oh well 🤷🏼♀️ you are still so fun to watch!
My understanding of the directions is that you can refresh dry hair that has already been curled a in day 2 or 3. Meaning curl your hair using this when wet and then refresh them on day 2 or 3 while the hair is dry.
Yes! You "get it"... thank you! :)
I seriously love the length of your hair!
Your videos on heat protectants have blown me away. They were amazing. Since then I would like to know if you skip them, have thrown them away or still use them?
can you try this again with wet hair?❤️
i’ve been loving the darker hair it looks so good and much healthier
I would love to see the results on damp hair and left overnight!
Back in the day way back my mom curled our hair like this with rags the ringlet curl would depend on the width and length of the rag and if your hair was wet damp or dry we had to sleep in them 🤣🥰🤗
I love when you try crazy random products
I have to try this out on my frizzy hair and see how it works! You are looking so glowy and pretty!!

I thought it was supposed to be heatless?
What eyeshadow palette did you use??? Your makeup looks so good
Hi Milabu! 😊❤ I have a suggestion...you could try twisting the hair closer or on top of itself on the roller instead of having it twisted around with big spaces. Then half the roller and tie it off? Love your videos so much!! 💕
Love that eyeshadow look! Interested, are the strips made from microfiber?
I love your eyeshadow makeup today!
similar to rag curls, I've done that using tissues. Very comfortable to sleep on.
Would you mind sharing what eye shadows you wearing? Love that they are yellows and pinks but they still look appropriate even for the workplace.
Your hair looks amazing that length and the colour really suits you girl 😋 pretty pretty!
I feel like you can get a much better look by wearing a headband and wrapping your hair around it. I do that all the time on my long hair for overnight curls and it works great 🤷🏼♀️
My hair is about the same leangth as Milabu's and I do the headband method you mentioned, always turned out super cute.
Malibu you are so great!! What eye and lip makeup are you wearing in this video?? Such a beautiful look!!!!
I did like how the unit kinda helped divide it off for you
I think if your hair is slightly damp before wrapping and you have the time to let if fully dry, the Octocurl might have worked pretty good?! Thanks for another awesome video! You’re the best and my favorite!
Can you do some lifestyle / haul videos? They’re super fun to watch! ❤️❤️
I like how dewy your skin looks! What foundation are you wearing?
You hair is growing so fast...I think it looked better in the wrapped curls than when you too it down..lol Looked like a rag mop to me..lol You look so pretty...Love your makeup..Hugs Loretta
I dont care about the curls lol, I was staring at your eye makeup the entire time 😍
I’m loving the makeup look in this video! You are absolutely glowing, tutorial on this look??

Yes, it's true. Appreciate your comment! xoxo
Your hair looks beautiful at that length 😊
The concept seems so much easier than my dreamcurls I got.
That hair thing is giving 70s hippies vibes!
Love your videos! Happy holidays🎄
That was great look on you! Ha! I think braids is definitely the best and cheapest way to go! Thanks for helping me save money again!! You’re the best!
Love your makeup look for this tutorial. Do you think you could do a tutorial on how you did your eye makeup?? LOVE YOU Milabu!!
Maybe would work better on damp or if you sprayed it when in.
I used to do something similar when my hair was longer. I would put a headband round my hair and weave it around it.
Brazil here! I love your chanel! ❤️
When you finished putting them in place.. such a look! Haha
Hi Milana, loved your " hippy look" heatless curls video. Your make up looks great too. Out of all of the heatless tools you have tried do you have like a Top 5 . I'm looking to buy some I have shoulder length thick coarse hair and want something comfy but quick to sleep in
I absolutely loooove your hair like this. I love the length, and the color is gorge. This curling device is a great idea too. Xo
How are you getting on with the dyson airwrap. I got one but not really using it to it’s full potential
Well, might still be useful for girls who have trouble braiding because of layers and stuff. With a little spritz of water before and some warmth it would probably work quite well.
Also: this could easily be diyed in a way, that the curls/waves would start higher up on the head. I would love to try, but I just cut off my hair.

I’m loving you hairstyle and color!!!!
It would probably work better if you did it on damp hair the night before
I put my hair in braids all the time. Could you explain how to get waves with a straightener? I tried twisting my hair and running it through my straightener and it didn't look right.
I really like your haircolor and your MakeUp is gorgeous ❤️
You have the best vids on u tube
I bet if you wet your hair just a little bit and then dry it with a low heat setting, the curls would be way more bouncey
Milabu! Second time watching your channel and I love the vibe you give ,you’re so chill ,honest ,and very thorough . Looove love love your hair color I’ve been dying to have this hair color for so long ! -your new subbie

Also, have you ever curled your hair with straws? I’ve seen that one a lot. Or toilet paper??
I’m surprised you didn’t do it on damp hair. 🤔
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do this with damp hair!
Si quieres unas ondas super definidas, este producto no sirve, pero si quieres algo leve pues sería una buena inversión.

Heatless curls! *uses heat*
It would have worked with damp hair
Lol this is what my hair looks like if I just let it air dry and do nothing to it
I’m predicting ho-hum results!!! Very loose wave 1/2 way down only. Such an odd item!!! Leave it to Amazon!!’
Grrrrrr! I’m not getting notifications for your channel😭
I domy know why but to me you look like a pocahontas with this on your hair 😂
The hair needs to be damp, not dry like this.
