at the end of every work day robin, you have as much paint & polish on your fingers & nails as your clients. all of these new colors you used today are so bright, simply amazing. I watched this tutorial a second time to get the names of the colors. {my four year old grandson A.J. is here} these waterless marbling nails are beautiful. your white starburst remains my favorite. robin, I very gingerly snipped nipped & trimmed one of your unicorns to a perfect length for me. I used a unicorn because your wands are the perfect length already and I use them more then the unicorns. plus I have four sets so trimming up one unicorn was fine. now I have one just a bit shorter then a wand the regular length. anyways it's a great size now for very detailed work or tiny granddaughter's nails. thanks for the helpful tips on trimming them. have a terrific weekend, lol, shaunna
shaunna, that is perfect. thank you so much for telling me this and i am so excited they are working great. hug your grand daughter for me and my love to you! have a WONDERFUL weekend!
Hey Robin I am so glad you said that you can keep your polish for a long time. Because before I heard you say that I was going to trash about 200 bottles that has not ever been used but I have had for about 5 years. I figured that they was to old. So thank you for saving me $$$!
I remember having this done back in 1988.... I always thought it was so pretty.... the lady back then dragged through with a feather, of all things....My friends and I thought she was so cool.... a few years latter we discovered the striping brushes.... I have always wondered if she is still using the feather....lol Ive done this to myself on and off over the years. I never cared if it was in or out of style. I just liked it.... Its interesting to read the comments, it seems to be almost a "new thing" to a lot of people...... Did you add a thinner to the polish? They seem really thin, and so perfect for this method.... If you didnt, it would almost seem like a good Idea to have some polishes that were thinned just for this method of nail art..... thinner makes all the difference in doing it..... would it be a good idea to put a clear gel top coat over the top of these? I remember that they took so long to dry and you had to be careful not to dent them...do you think it would help this?... that was the down side of them....
ooohh my God!This Essie neon collection is wonderful and your no water marble always spectacular..it seems like tropical flowers or peacock tail..I'll show u on twitter my design of the day inspired by a sunset with seagull painting.:)
DoWOW! You’ve picked up your game......seriously 🙌🏽! These are beautiful. We missed you. I love the fact that she did it old school because I’ve been doing nails 29 years and I have to say, for an artist to bring us back and do it the simplest way, Teach the youngins how different, but also how similar they r now, compared to back in the day. I would rather do that technique no matter what type stylish marketing they have out here of products. Congratulations!👏🏽🌞🙌🏽
Now I know what I'm doing my nails like this time. Thank you! I have tried water marbling which is great, but this looks like an easy alternative. I'm ambidextrous so (hopefully) it will go swimmingly (she says....!!!). I'm a nail tech and have never seen this method before, so I love to try new methods. Thank you so much! You're a star and this is really impressive.
I think I have this set in my Essie drawer! Tfs and reminding me. I was just playing with the silk water colors by Essie. I also love the color paints and tints by OPi!
you are friggin awesome diana, thank you!!! i had no idea they would strike such a chord..........so, to me.........its been a lot of fun to show you guys. hard to film at first,lol..........but i got it down a littttttttle! haha *hugehugs*
Congratulations Robin!!! I enjoy every single one of your videos: long nails, short nails, all of them are amazing!!! You are really an artist and a great person , through your nice and sheerful voice you spread the happiness that your work gives to you. I am learning a lot of you, I do my nails myself and I practice with some of my friends who see the designs you inspired me. Thanks for sharing your art ;)
Thanks for all your help Robin I just ordered the wand sure wish I would have seen the brush tutorial first I wish I would have ordered both brushes with the $2 off I'm disabled on a very limited income so I guess the one will have to do thank you so much for all your help
Thank you. In my career i have taught so many coworkers and shop owners these techniques and although some struggle, tons go on to perfect some of these designs and it has allowed them to travel, pay bills, do more with their career and do it faster tobmake more money. You dont have to perfect all of it, just what hits you and what you practice. I became aware i had a talent in portraits after practicing these after 10 years and I got bored lol. I began seeing how fun it was to share, so here i am!!!! Please know I appreciate your watching and although its daunting, you can do lots!!!! Xoxoxo
Was just telling my sister how Freaking Amazing you are! Your talent is something I envy. I'm not just giving lip service here. Your videos all blow me away.
I really can't believe some of these remarks! You obviously know well what you're doing! All of your designs are flawless! It just goes to show no matter who uploads whatever sort of video people will just continue to be rude! Keep Shining Lovely!!
Lessie Nance it doesnt bother me. i did the work. i learned the hard way. if they dont want to learn you kinda see their frustration. they didnt see my tears and yime it took to learn so incant imagine tgey would understand my reason for being here or my goals....and while they are being mean others are learning and going to school and making extra money. we all have a path and im grateful for mine. staying in my own lane allows me inner success ....and i wish all haters out there to find something that gives them peace...life is hard. 😊
Next time I'm at Walmart I'm gonna pick up some Essie nail polish & try this!!... But knowing my luck it's gonna turn out to be more of a mess, then pretty cool design patterns...
grrr your killing me here, every time you do one of these i fall in love and i wanta do it and i get ready to do it and you come out with another. one i like, your killing me here lol
Hi Sharon! I just had an interest in nail art for about a month or so and have ordered a bunch of stuff and bough quite a few nail polish. I "practice" on my 2 daughters and son on myself since it is a bit harder to do it on my nails. what would you recommend for me? thank you and love your channel
You do some sort of magic with these polishes! I've been following your channel about a year and I'm always having fun watching you... I can't do the same designs at all (I do my nails myself just for a hobby, not professionally), but the colors and techniques are great! I'll try to do that one of these days! =) Congrats Robin! You are very talented and I wish you all the best! =) Greetings from Brazil!
Oh Robin THESE nails speak to me big-time! I get major hippie vibes looking at these I've been trying to figure out a neat mani for 420 lol and think ima go with THIS but with the Rasta colors.✌👍😍😍😍💚😘
Aah Robin you have me hooked new sub here, diy'er with a bit of cosmotology background came across ur vid, was looking to try water marble and i am hooked 💯 will be trying .tysmfs
Hello! I am so glad you like them lovebug!! They are super fun but also the hardest technique to get perfect. Lol but once you get it it is so much fun and you will jave a hard time forgetting how after you get it down!! Xoxo
Hi Robin when you get a minute could you answer my question is your WHITE polish WET ? When you're applying the colors to make the flower? I've tried your Technique but I don't have a tiny brush using a toothpick and I realize you definitely need a tiny brush thanks so much for answering my question when you get a Time which is probably never I know how busy you are
ssue hello! Yes, my white polish is very wet. It is liberally applied and I highly recommend you go to my no water marble playlist and look through each one because although different, the technique is the same and I explain it differently every time I film it. Filming no water marble is probably the hardest design to film because I have to stay so still while trying to manipulate the Polish and brush in a very tiny area and speak about what I am doing at the same time so I leave points out. However, I have almost a hundred tutorials on this type of technique and each one was valuable enough for me to post it instead of throw it away. I hope this helps you. And yes, a good brush is essential.
Robin Moses Nail Art wow thank you so much for answering yeah toothpick just does not work I definitely need I have a small makeup brush but it's still not small enough I'm going to attempt it again when I get a tiny brush thanks so much again and thanks for answering about the white polish going to try that next time to have it wet instead of dry maybe it'll all Glide better couple of my designs got really muddy looking maybe I had too much polish down but if they muddied up together and looked horrible LOL
Wow! Robin Moses you are talented, gifted, and blessed. Everything you do is simply gorgeous. You inspire me. Thank you for sharing your beauty with us.❤️
