- We set off from the National Trust Brackenclose Car Park in Wasdale (£7 or free for NT members) but took the steep and rough gully of Mickledore, which allowed a great scramble on loose scree, then up the Mickledore chimney. A quality day with quality people!

Top marks for everyone Alan. It was slow going up that shale but it was enjoyable as you mentioned. What you didn't want to be was an addition to that fatality stat. Not good! So steady goes and what a day. Enjoyed them river crossings. The views were pretty cool to. Take care for the rest of the week. Mark
Wye Explorer - thanks Mark and the shale was fun to get up but like you say, slow and steady is definitely the way bro do it. Appreciate you watching Mark, cheers Alan
Wow, congrats on making it all the way to the top! That looked hike quite the hike, but I would really enjoy the rock scrambling part of it! The views from the top were insane. Well worth the long, hard climb up. Awesome job once again!
Josh the Travel Guy - thanks very much for watching Josh, appreciate it buddy cheers Alan
I am so excited you got to summit Scafell Pike! And you went the route my Englishman and I originally planned on going but didn't because of the snow. Relentless climb in the beginning..... yep, that pretty much sums it up. Great video and congratulations on your hat trick. We are aiming to do Ben Nevis later this summer. I just returned from the UK and we did a few lovely walks in the Peak District. Cheers :)
I got my fingers crossed you get a clear day for Ben Nevis, as it is stunning in the right weather. Shame you could not have done that route but in snow, it was the right call to go up one of the other routes. Thank you very much for watching and look forward to seeing some of your Peak District videos, cheers Alan
Lovely weather for it stunning views. Hopefully we will have the same at Easter when we attempt it.mike
Thanks for watching Mike and I hope you made it OK, cheers Alan

Love these mountain vids. I can see me doing a fair bit of this when the lads grow up and stop using me as a taxi lol. That chimney looks a bit of a bugger though.

My friend, just 💯 percent amazing, absolutely beautiful country, breathtaking

Another cracking video, Alan. It must feel good to have now ticked off the third and final peak. I'm aiming to do Snowdon next month and catch up with the other two sometime after. :-)
Nice one Olly and I will look out for that video. Numinous routes up Snowdon, we took the Llanberris path, the longest and easiest but I was underwhelmed to be honest. Going to do it again in September on a more challenging route. Thanks for watching, cheers Alan

Awesome video mate, really enjoyed it, looked a cool route up, steep and a nice bit of scrambling too, can see how people might fall around there with the fatalities you mentioned. Looked a good fun walk that, beautiful scenery, loved that running water at the end, stunning. Well done on having all three peaks under your belt now, I've done Snowdon 5 times but not the others yet. One day maybe. Good stuff mate, all the best 👍 Gaz

Well done on your walk. I was hoping to see you go up the actual Mickledore chimney, the climb next to the east buttress on Scafell for which there is scant info on the internet but never mind!
Thanks very much Justin and I appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave a comment. I have done the Pike a couple of times but never got around to climbing Scafell itself, or looking at a route either, something I must put right this summer. Cheers Alan
