@@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice it was a while back maybe 3 years ago the lady couldn't get it to work and I fixed it the AC adapter was loose and asked if she wanted it back and said you can have it really nice condition matching controller tight stick I got 5 of the 6 funtastics still on the hunt for the grey one
A lady pulled out one SNES game for me last weekend, and it happened to be Pocky & Rocky. Then she mentioned her son had some old Pokémon cards. Sometimes you get lucky!
I’ll try to summarize but best of the year was my PlayStation mystery tote that I scored on an ask at a yard sale in the middle of nowhere. Saw a mario plushie and asked if there was anything else game related and they go up to this unmarked bin and pull the top off, top to bottom it was stuffed. I didn’t even look through I stood up and said how much for all of it and the guy yells 20 bucks! Couldn’t get it to my car fast enough! 2 consoles, about 35 PS1 games, 40 ish PS2 games all complete. Few highlights were time crisis 2 in the box with the gun, dark cloud 2, Galerians for PS1, and shadowhearts covenant. It certainly restored my faith in the power of the ask for sure. It was about 800 dollars in value after I tallied it up
I just left exactly the same comment before I read this one. I totally agree! Sometimes its better to be fair and leave knowing that everybody is happy with the deal. A win-win :)
You know some of these people hosting garage sales literally do not know their asshole from a hole in the ground, yet you guys still shoot them fair offers… good dudes.. keep grinding to the tippity top boys!
I think one Chase can show us besides resaling, flipping, creating a business. Is how he manages to keep friendships so long and have his friends so involved in the process. That is quite rare as an adult.
I work 3rd shift before I go garage sailing on Friday and Sat mornings, I don't get any sleep inbetween. My 2 friends wouldn't wake up after sleeping all night. Needless to say I don't pickup anyone anymore.
You're awesome Chase! I appreciate you man. Great job bargaining with Jr, you certainly made his summer. Love your content. Thanks again for taking us along. Cheers brother! TBH, gamestop probably would have given them less than $40 for 2nd Wii U bindle. Great finds! I love it!
I have 3 Gamecubes and 1 of em I modded with the GC Loader PNP and Loader Mount. 1 of em I bought in a auction for around $150 that came with a controller, memory card, all the hookups, Paper Mario Thousand Year Door (case and game only), Ultimate Spider Man (case and game only), CIB Time Splitters Future Perfect and CIB Mario Golf. And the other GC I bought ages ago is still CIB. Great video dude and keep on chasing after that right price!
damn you found a dark tower in the wild rare find and for a buck crazy i got 2 a few years ago for free off of face book market great money and only take about an hour to sell parts and pices sell just as fast
It's bittersweet watching kids sell their video games at yard sales. I loved having the extra cash as a kid to buy new things, but as an adult I wish I had kept my whole collection instead of just a few pieces. Now if I want to get it all back, it'll cost an arm and a leg.
Thanks for the 'long play' vid chase and co. Appreciated on a tuesday after a long day at work. 👍🏻✌🏻❤️ P.S i just saw towards end of vid, barney dvd if offering international shipping is good money i seem to recall.
Do you still have the Galaxy XL box? I just got one and could use the box and wouldn't mind purchasing off of you! Killer vids and keep up the content! We need an updated game room tour vid!
Unreal pickups! Been looking for a wii u since last year haven’t seen one. Have a few alarm clocks if you want to trade for one I’m sure Thayne will appreciate it 😂
I always pay up to the kids also. I have been getting so many Wiis but I wont sell them now because of our impatient reselling colleagues that are dumping them for $20-$40 less than what they were before garage sale season. How bad some people are at reselling! I mean there are still more solds than listed, but there is price degradation? That is just ridiculous incompetence. I will sell my 15 Wii systems at christmas.
The is my first video from your channel. You were recommended by a friend and I am so glad he did. You guys are Christians, right? Love your kindness to that kid. Subbed!
(*cheers when wii sports peeks out of the box*) (*stops when box closes*) (*starts again when it opens back up*) - That had me dead you guys. Whoever's idea that was. Comedy is strong with that one.
15:56 why don't you just replace the sticks? Not that hard to do and jumps the value up. I know you probably just want the quick flip but it's not hard to do.
Sometimes we do, our friend Matt usually replaces a bunch of stuff related to controllers. Just depends if we have the parts in stock or not, and then accounting for paying him to replace/fix the things.
Chase I’m looking to get rid of my sport card collection. I’ve been debating on going to a local card show and unloading them. I’m a fan of the channel I don’t have a Facebook or Instagram how else can I contact you?
I know this is an old video, but I'm Not a fan of Thayne at all, he's constantly extremely low balling everyone and everything to the point where he's kind of a slime ball. 45 dollars for that Wii bundle was a steal already, and he should of just accepted their counter offer, especially knowing it was worth well over 200+. I'm kind of sad Chase didn't step in and be like, "this is nice and rare stuff Thanye we can offer a bit more." I love these style of shows, but at the same time, I feel really bad for the sellers. They are loosing so much money to these guys, when all they have to do is post it online, and be a bit patient. If you're reading this people, research your stuff, before you sell. Don't take less than 75-80% it's worth if you're trying to move something fast. You will 100% regret it down the road. "But some people just want to get rid of it now." That's the dumbest comment I've ever heard, and it makes zero sense. Like you wouldn't ask for 5 dollars now, knowing you could get 20 in a week. No offense to chase, but you have people out here that have made careers off people being stupid with their property. And yes, I'm calling it stupid. This couple giving away their Wii U for 40 dollars, was stupid, ESPECIALLY in today's age. "I don't know what it's worth?" Google or ebay it moron, that's literally what they are doing right in front of you. You can get an answer in less than 2 minutes by pulling out your phone. "But they need to make some money too." No, that's not a thing, and it never was. It BECAME a thing because people didn't research what they had, and sold stuff cheap. So resellers became a thing. I'm sorry, but it's not my responsibility to sell a reseller something cheap, so they can also make money off of it too. That even sounds stupid, "hey reseller, we are not a partnership, you did not buy the thing I am offering you right now, I do not care about your online fees, and expenses to sell this thing to another person. I am offering it to you for what it's worth. Take it or leave it."
Does Thayne just come along with you just as a buddy & for the thrill of the hunt or does he invest with you into purchases or perhaps you pay him to assist with processing stock? Just curious about your professional relationship.
They do trading cards mutually as a business and hobby, but to my knowledge no declaration of money/contract has been discussed. I do know the other man named as brother Dave worked for chase as an independent contractor :) While ago they'd discuss who was keeping what from their finds, but haven't heard talk like that recently.
Do you guys ask for permission every single time for footage at a garage sale? Or only when you include their faces. I’m thinking about starting a reselling channel
Usually we try not to include faces anyways, but if someone is obviously uncomfortable we won’t include it, or if they ask about the camera we tell them about the channel and ask permission.
