I just joined JST online guild and I am almost overwhelmed with everything she is teaching. I bought my floor loom (used) about a month before the first COVID lockdown. ☹️ I have not been able to learn much on my own so I’m excited about the guild. Thanks for your videos, I really enjoy seeing what you are working on. 😊

So glad I'm not the only one who uses a drill for winding on their bobbins. I use my husband's cordless drill. He doesn't mind because I keep the batteries charged, he doesn't have to worry about it when he goes to use it :) Thank you for the videos, they are great ! I have learned a lot.

Most excellent of you to keep his batteries charged. I find a drill less expensive and just as functional a dedicated bobbin winder.

I'm going to sign up for Jane's guild now that I've seen some of you amazing RUclips weavers reference the courses. As a beginner, I'm hoping to get my table loom this coming month and look forward to warping on some amazing projects!

Once again enjoy watching your video's but then because we are big wool weavers have to adapt my threading. Wish we had access to cotton the way you have in the US

I love her patterns....I am on level 3 ..... Jane's instructions are very detailed (booclay). Glad your doing this it gives a second prospective. When I started with Jane I had no idea how to weave at all. I had just bought a loom and the how to book was foreign to me. As I continue with her lessons my confidence is building and its rewarding seeing all level 2 finished projects.

As others have mentioned, it is pronounced boo-clay, just like you were saying it at the end. It comes from the French word bouclé meaning loops, looped ...referring to the loops in the yarn itself. Love the colours you chose for your Asymmetry project. I also learned lots from Jane.

I really like watching your video! Also, I'm french Canadian from Quebec and yes, you are pronouncing "bouclé" the right way ;)
