What a dream property! Whole lot of work I'm sure I just hope you're able to sit back and really take in what a masterpiece you've put together. Well done sir.
I told you the price on the synthetic turf would be stupid expensive. I have a 5x6’ hitting area, a 2x3’ wedge station. And a 3x20’ putting strip. Built it all out myself. But the turf is really high end putting turf (NP50 from synthetic turf international). Got it as a remnant from a guy who installs turf locally. So I got a good price. But it still wasn’t cheap. Full price would have been well over $1k just for that little bit of turf. Which doesn’t include the shipping cost.
Spray this in the heat of the summer. GRIGG GreenPIG is a premium pigment additive. It provides natural green turf color for up to one month and reflects potentially harmful near infrared (NIR) light, which may improve turfgrass quality and vigor. Best thing I ever sprayed.
Synthetic greens are expensive. I built mine for $65K. Got quotes from Southwest Greens, Tour Greens, and Synlawn. Southwest greens and Tour Greens were within about 3-5% of each other. Synlawn is the least expensive- but would not be the right fit for chipping into it. I ended up going with Southwest. Definitely best in class - but pricey.
Get the artificial turf shipped in and do the job yourself!!! You don't have to go with the best turf out there....? Do you? Also, you should put a golf simulator up somewhere for winter getaways??!!!
West coast aint the only tree huggers yknow. Midwest folk love trees too. And golf should subract politics. But ya showed yer hand. Golf is golf. Golf lovers just love golf.
there is no way it should cost 45k that sounds weird... theres a few groups on facebook that do backyard putting greens and ive NEVER herd of a price like that.
Do you ever get people that wanna help you work on the course more than play it? Id love to tail you around n just pick your brain on what you're doin in different areas

All the time. Evenings just driving back the fairway, mornings with just me and the birds.
Spot on! Spilled the cooler making our way back to the BnB at 3:40!!
Jeremy, your passion for Spud Run is evident in this (and other recent) videos.
Makes bench seat with the stumps!
Please please build your own practice green and bring us along on the journey. I'd love to see that process.
Looks like a fun day. You pack a lot in one day. And good videos clips. I know that is a lot of work.
It sure is
Great video! So nice to lay on the couch and watch someone work on their BYGC
Glad you enjoyed it!
You’re the goat. Channel is so elite
From Chicago I need to make a trip down asap
Hell you can build a fully spec'd USGA green for less than that.

Yeah-that guy was trying to swindle you. It doesn’t cost anywhere near that here, and I live in California!
I know stuff is expensive, but never dreamed it would be that much.
For the people who don't know, that is how you properly notch a tree.
I’ve cut more trees than most, but at the same time I have a lot of respect for safety. I’m waiting for the helmet and chap comments.,
3 weeks to put the turf down when you are doing all the prep? ehhh
Hundred percent what he told me. I can’t see how that’s possible.
Wasn't the 1 iron quote made by Lee Trevino?
Haha, probably
❤

Few of my friends are always ready to clock in. But at the same time, I really enjoy working on things alone.
2025 is my year for the Subscriber Tournament.
I think so too!
Hack shack wood
We have a few bonfires ready now if it ever cools down
These guys had fake balls you said lol
$45k is absolutely absurd for that work and synthetic turf. Have you tried calling places and getting better quotes
White hat AND practice balls,wth!?!
