I noticed on your Canal Boat Diaries on UKTV that you originally came from Yeovil. Yeovil is an area I know well having worked at Westland Helicopters, now Leonardo Helicopters, from 1978 to 2004. I lived in Somerton but knew the area well mainly through playing in Skittles Leagues.

As a Leicestershire boy born and bred, I can warn you that a lot of the questions in Mountsorrel will be to do with floods and flooding. The River Soar is a frisky old sod. Earlier this year a narrowboat broke free of its moorings and fetched up athwart the bridge abutments I think in Barrow.

I first saw your boat travels, I was on holiday in Wales with my two sons a few years before and we went on a canal boat, that was fitted out as it was in the 1800’s beds so small I remember, always found your easy going nature goes well with the boat, love the engine sounds lol, live in Spain now but with Freesat still watch your show when on, thanks for sharing your experiences and every day life very interesting!!!

I have to say because being truthful and giving credit to someone and its credit worth its due so...im 55 years old and you've talked to me a few times a rare thing for me to get a creators response. Im giving you credit for being a handsome gent smart and into the genre gravity grabs my soul to. Guinness is my absolute favorite. Here for 8 oz which is less the size of a pint 7 dollars pretty much a size of a disposable mouth rinse cup. Here we say dixy cups. 🇺🇸 forgot my part of Rollin hills im in.
