While taking the audience on a journey through belonging in post-conflict communities, Omar shares his personal journey to his own identity. His architecture and designs are the result of this journey, centred by his belief in cultural understanding and community involvement- especially in helping to heal a post-conflict community through architecture. Things are getting much better now! The country is rebuilding itself real quick.And i'm proud of my country and have never been ashamed of being a Somali, because civil wars have been happening all over the world and is not new, and hopefully we are gonna be out of this Mess InshaAllah (God willing).

although there is some misapplications on somali words such "burjiko" instead of saying "idin"
burjiko : is the large one that is being used for cooking after puting it some Cinders
but "idin" is for Perfuming the rooms and our grandmothers used to use it for drying and perfuming their hairs after washing , also for delivering the Firebrand to/from Neighbors
