I'm so addicted to my AMG GT R that I haven't stopped driving it, whatever the weather! That means it's picked up quite some salt and grime so how better to rectify this ahead of Autosport than a visit to Topaz to fully restore it and install PPF over the remaining parts. If you had a GT R, would you drive it like a daily or save it for special days?
Drive it daily! Great decision to put ppf on the whole car. Because its heart breaking look at the scratch from stone chips. Great work topaz to make it shining again!
I really like these educating Videos with Nabil from Topaz explaining what they do and why they do it. And he does a very good Job filming and telling us what`s going on.
Topaz guy is pretty charismatic. He should have his own channel. Would be interesting to see before/during/after vids of random dirty cars that come into the shop, and the process they go through to clean them.
These guys at Topaz are awsum. Such an immaculate job and no doubt word of mouth brings in all those stunning cars. Nice one Nabil and cheers Tim. Great video.

However, besides everything, I can't wait to see your incoming GT3 and I hope you'll be bringing it to the Nurburgring to do a few timed laps very soon!!!
Just drove my GT-R on the track, that thing truly is a beast. I still left traction control on most of the time and also stability control. However, I did turn off steering assist and breaking assist. Must say Project Cars is a pretty good game! :D
Hey Tim in the future would you be doing some paint correction on the car because I saw alot of Orange Peel just asking man keep up with the videos and never ever stop! I love them so damn much!

Hi Tim would you consider putting a Renntech exhaust system on your AMG GT-R I know it already sounds brutal but imagine how good it would sound with an exhaust system anyways just a suggestion have fun at Autosport
In my experience, one needs to put the car on a lift and clean it properly from underneath to make sure there is nothing corrosive left on the underside, or trapped inside the under body and diffuser fairings.
Shmee, when or what for do you take your cars to Topaz and to Posh Wash?? First I interpreted the difference as Topaz being for protection and Posh Wash for cleaning, but now your car gets cleaned at Topaz, so I am a bit confused..
Blame Posh Wash for those swirls. Though to be honest instilling defects is quite hard to avoid and they're definitely gonna show more in black paint. I was surprised you didn't get the whole car done in PPF when you first got it.
Tim one thing not mentioned....did they do touch up paint on the rock chipped areas? I’m assuming they did but you know what they say about assuming.....

Yes they would have done. A light wet sand and polish then ppf on the top.
