Rhonda, i’ve been a big B-52 fan myself since around 1985. I first remember hearing them when I was in Brazil meeting the family of my future wife. The song legal tender was a huge hit at that time and being played on the radio constantly. I’ve enjoyed their music ever since. Candy Candy Candy
I can't let you go
Life is crazy
Candy baby
Yeah, well it hurt me real bad when you left
I'm glad you got out
But I miss you
I've had a hole in my heart
For so long
I've learned to fake it
And just smile along
Down on the street
Those men are all the same
I need a love
Not games
Not games
Candy Candy Candy
I can't let you go
All my life you're haunting me
I loved you so
Candy Candy Candy
I can't let you go
Life is crazy

I can't let you go
All my life you're haunting me
I loved you so

Iggy was always an awesome singer, deserves more acclaim.
A lot of power coming out of that baritone, rather than tenor, space.
forever in love with Kate Pierson's voice
The B52's
Very unique voice.

Nice video, he with that great personality and she with that beautiful voice, they make a great duet.
When I was 21 a girl conquered my heart and she played this song a lot. Everytime I stumble over it it reminds me how magical it was and puts a smile on my face. I can literally feel the wind and sun when I rode my skateboard downhill on my way to the cafe she was working at to pick her up. All that euphoria for the little things life had to offer
Isn't life grand?
@@candykelly2705 No it is for people like you with piss easy lives, but for me , who got rejected by every woman i ever asked out for 45 years and being i love and getting to kiss the first woman in your life then getting dumped because you were too nervous to have sex is really dark, makes me want to kill myself, im screaming and crying all night until im exhaused, i cant get a break unless i push it rediculisly hard in the gym and i get a few mins relif, then its right back to the god awfull hell again.
@@mcpartridgeboy may I suggest getting a skateboard

Oh that voice, Kate Pierson..... goosebumps. love it.
gpljk She's got a new solo album out, if you can't get enough of it. It's called "Guitars and Microphones".
Oh cool thx.
gpljk Her album is badly underpublicized if even her biggest fans don't know about it.
It is excellent. Crush me with your love is phenomenal
gpljk :me too...
O vocal da Kate Pierson é simplesmente sensacional !!
Kate Pierson is a beautiful, sensuous talent and what a voice! Crushed on her for years but, unfortunately she's on "the other team"
So true
Do Iggy também!
Formam uma dupla e tanto! 😍
@@stephencarroll9210 doesn’t have to be unfortunate for her 🤘
This song made me respect her. If she is good enough for the Igster, she is good enough for me.
I'm an old B-52s girl I love everything they did and Iggy Pop did a wonderful job it's awesome I used to sneak into clubs when I was young to see them this is 2022 and I still love this music
Kate Pierson is the most brilliant voice
No a
Still rocks my boat after decades
Rhonda, i’ve been a big B-52 fan myself since around 1985. I first remember hearing them when I was in Brazil meeting the family of my future wife. The song legal tender was a huge hit at that time and being played on the radio constantly. I’ve enjoyed their music ever since. I’ve only see them perform live one time and that was in Louisville Kentucky around 10 years ago when they did a free concert for the Kentucky Derby festival. I was introduced to Iggy later but I really like his music also. He was such a pioneer and unique performer
Kate is a certified Goddess, I'll fight anyone who says otherwise. I was just watching her outshine Michael Stipe in Shinny Happy People... If you don't consider that solid evidence, you're probably in a coma.
TOP 200 SONGS OF ALL TIME. Achingly beautiful. 😊😊☮☮🌈🌈
