I was wondering why there is no fog on the PS5 version. In the description you said the reflections look worse on PS5 when I thought they look better. I played this last night on SeriesX and it's feels like a different game now. Has the bullets always bounced off cover like they do now? It's been a while since I've played it before the patch. I watched the reflections again and they do look better on SeriesX. The reflections don't match the environment. Watch the fountain at 5:20 the white shed is not reflecting properly with the water. It's not lined up correctly with the actual shed. Same with the trees.

The reflections are completely off on ps5 version, they don't match at all with environment.. The reflection is a tree but there is a bush there...also at 0:58 look at the ball and the bushes right next to the ball, the reflections are completely absent on ps5 version...
I noticed the same the warehouse reflections dont match with the real one, the colors on ps5 look better for me but the effects dont, is somethnig strange!!

Its funny to see how people say its buggy game when PS5 does not good but when series x had screen tearing because developers did not fix that and in other games had bugs everyone says its bad console while DF said its a bug or something else lol
Erm, people will call genuine bugs when there are genuine bugs such as is obvious with the playstation version of this title. Screen tearing however , is a sign of incorrectly paced frame timings which reveal the engine is not keeping up with fps and so an overall indicator of the whole systems performance. In general, they are a very different phenomenon. Should you be looking for proof that your shiney series x is more powerful than a PS5, there are far better arguments to make, such as hitmans superior resolution or the frame rate advantage displayed in photo mode for control ultimate (though in game is actually slightly better on the ps). I think this game is likely to get a patch soon, and once the obvious bugs have been fixed it would make more sense to compare then. Either way, im glad lots of games are getting a new lease of life with the more powerfull consoles to run on. Ive recentky upgraded my PC to a rtx3090, so im experiencing this with my pc titles too!
It's funny how I always see your comment every day in videos like this, except they say literally the exact same thing in defense or attacking both consoles. It's easy when you're an Xbox fan to only focus on negative things about Xbox and boast about positives, and it's exactly the same when you're a Playstation fan. That's what confirmation bias is. As for the game being buggy, well it's been patched since this video came out and runs pretty much the same as Series X, so yeah it was a "bug", or more accurately it was just a literal port of the PS4 Pro version without any enhancements which has been fixed now. Both consoles are pretty much the fucking same when it comes to how they perform, and it honestly varies on a game by game basis which console ends up having the best looking/performing version, which is why if you stop being a pathetic fanboy and just buy both consoles you won't have to justify to yourself constantly that your bias confirms your belief.
Don’t think anything is happening to it some people rig things to look like they are lagging behind or slightly lie to favour a company when they pay them off

Por isso que vi que a versão do PS5 tava "clean" demais quando fiz o Upgrade... Ubisoft simplesmente não habilitou o FOG(névoa) no console, por isso que foca explícito a construção/renderização dos cenários na versão do PS5, coisa que o efeito de névoa mascarava na versão original.

Pior são essas empresas sacanas que fazem uma versão "Remasterizada" e te fazem comprar o mesmo jogo pra poder jogar a 4K 60FPS, ou nem isso, em muitos casos.

Without the fog it does look like the colors are to bright and it doesn't have that post battle look to it like SeriesX does. I jumped back on it when the patch came out on my SeriesX and noticed that the bullets seem to bounce off cover better now. Might just be me because I haven't played it in a long time.

A grande maioria se não todos os retrocompativeis nem usa a tecnologia dessa arquitetura de ssd do ps5, basicamente ele está rodando como um ssd normal em um ps4, entendeu? Good thing I got series x for all third party games they look and run batter where as ps5 its sold out and its over hype console I will buy it down the line once it has proper exclusives till then my ps4 pro can handle exclusive titles and for rest series x
@@stephonhines6554 I got both console series x and ps4 pro games like red dead redemption 2, doom internal, forza , gears series and many more games which had xbox one x support runs smooth and batter on series x and games which were released before one x and ps4 pro i play those games on playstation 4 pro. So at the moment I dont feel any need of buying ps5 considering there is only 1 exclusive game which I am interested in that's demon soul.

It's not just gamma, they mentioned that PS5 version is missing fog which makes a massive difference, less atmosphere and you see areas which you shouldn't in a regular version, also PS5 has less detail like Series S version, lower quality textures and broken reflections for some reason.

I've noticed that ps5 version of games is messing some visual effects and visual objects in several games including cyperpunk, hitman, control and this one, it could be intentual to maintain a stable frame rate.

muchos dicen que se ve mejor en ps5, eso es porque le han reducido el efecto niebla o el polvo al mapa. la versión real desarrollada por massive, es la xbox series x tal cual como se ve. ya es cosa de gusto si se ve mejor en ps5. en mi caso me gusta jugar a la versión del desarrollo del juego.
I dont know if its me or not but besides the slight less fog and resolution im seem to be seeing better shadows and image and reflections on ps5 compared to xbox

@@dannymimms1988 what are you watching the same thing. The textures of PS5 match the XSS you can see by the shirt plate on character select. The reflections are not aligned up on the PS5 when looking at the white hut in the pond at around 5min Mark. Also there is no shadow on the football on the PS5 version in the pond when there obviously is on the other versions. All at a lower resolution.
I've seen a lot of videos where the XSX loads faster. This isn't always the case but I thought PS5 was supposed to have some crazy ssd that was supposed to be light years ahead of XBX? I've seen videos where xbox was faster by a lot and some where it was less than a second in favor of PS5.
@@deadshot0908 It's not about "why care?". The whole point of my comment was that ps5 is supposed to have a crazy expensive custom ssd. Real world use shows that XSX can beat ps5 a lot of the time or a few seconds difference. I found this interesting.
Play the console you like but base on the videos I've seen with these comparisons, if the game plays best on the Ps5 better than the X, it's a developer issue and not an Xbox/Microsoft issue. For instance; games at first would look best on Ps5 until patches are released and or upgrades. Ie cyberpunk, Hitman 3, etc. Again, both consoles are great though.
Hitman 3 was a fluke though and DF proved this in their in-depth performance analysis, putting it up against the PC to see what's going on. It's pretty interesting. As for Cyberpunk, the game also runs in BC and the Xbox version uses the One X with some custom cooked settings, opposed to the PS4 version. Developers are being lazy. As hell :/

I've been meaning to get both but I managed to get only ps5 in December... I can't wait to finally be able to get my series x. That thing is a monster!!!! Ps5 is clearly an exclusive title console, third party games look like shit
Because the XSX is more powerful in both CPU and GPU. Micorosft overhauled their devkits in the "last minute" before launch. So a few launchgames actually ran better on PS5 in the beginning. Which lead some fools to believe that the PS5 had better graphics. As you can clearly see the difference is quite stark. The XSX will always be the superior machine in multiplatform games. Not that the PS5 is unplayable now. Far from it. Just stating facts. I dont have either consoles.

PS5 is clearly a great bit of kit, and I will be buying one once the bugs are ironed out (and when it's available), but they've been disappointing for years in terms of BC. I know the PS3 was stupidly designed, but they had some great games on it, would love to be able to keep playing them when my console inevitably dies on me, without having to rely on devs making remasters and remakes, dilutes the original somewhat too.

Tenho sempre a impressão que no PS5 está habilitado FULL RGB nas configurações e no Series S e X das pessoas que fazem teste deixam e padrão porém as Sombras e cores ficam muito melhores em Full RGB se muda fácil em configurações.

Isso vem desabilitado por padrão no Xbox e vem habilitado por padrão no PlayStation e isso muda totalmente as Sombras e cores dos jogos... caso tenha um Xbox one pra cima faz um teste e veja vc mesmo!

@@BalkanGames that makes no sense, the division 2 isn’t a taxing performance game for next gen it’s obvious that ps5 version wasn’t optimized you can tell by the load times its basically the ps4 pro version with 4K and 60 frames.
This is one of those games with BC upgrades like JFO and Battlefront 2. Xbox backward compatibility implementation is better so the game ultimately looks better on SX and SS.

It's because SX BC allows devs to easily upgrade last gen versions of their games with a patch whereas for PS5 they have to create an entire native port for the same features.

It's backwards compatibility mode. Xbox has better backwards compatibility and they are running at the limits of the last gen versions reasons why the ps4 pro hits the Max ps5 res at its best point.

Wow the Series S definitely keeps up pretty well. But it seems that series X is finally showing off its capabilities, people can bash Xbox all the want about toolkits GDK, in the end that was the cause of the poor performance on the series X. Not saying Ps5 doesn´t fare any worse, but PS5 in this case is the inferior version of Division 2 and Hitman 3. I hope they keep optimizing all versions for the best performance as possible.

The patch dont change the settings but just framerate so the graphics is like ps4 and one x versions ..😒

Por isso que vi que a versão do PS5 tava "clean" demais quando fiz o Upgrade... Ubisoft simplesmente não habilitou o FOG(névoa) no console, por isso que foca explícito a construção/renderização dos cenários na versão do PS5, coisa que o efeito de névoa mascarava na versão original.
Toda cagada a versão do ps5 é o cara fala uma barbaridade destas.

Without the fog it does look like the colors are to bright and it doesn't have that post battle look to it like SeriesX does.
I jumped back on it when the patch came out on my SeriesX and noticed that the bullets seem to bounce off cover better now. Might just be me because I haven't played it in a long time.

@@voiceprogramming1405 I watched the reflections again and they do look better on SeriesX. The reflections don't match the environment. Watch the fountain at 5:20 the white shed is not reflecting properly with the water. It's not lined up correctly with the actual shed. Same with the trees.

So at the moment I dont feel any need of buying ps5 considering there is only 1 exclusive game which I am interested in that's demon soul.

Gamma differences between XSX and PS5 give the impression of different visual/graphics.
It's not just gamma, they mentioned that PS5 version is missing fog which makes a massive difference, less atmosphere and you see areas which you shouldn't in a regular version, also PS5 has less detail like Series S version, lower quality textures and broken reflections for some reason.
At 7:20 you can see the fog completely absent on ps5 and the colors are to saturated.
also the reflections in the pool show that PS5 screen space reflections are off for some reason.

The reflections are not aligned up on the PS5 when looking at the white hut in the pond at around 5min Mark. Also there is no shadow on the football on the PS5 version in the pond when there obviously is on the other versions. All at a lower resolution.

I've seen a lot of videos where the XSX loads faster. This isn't always the case but I thought PS5 was supposed to have some crazy ssd that was supposed to be light years ahead of XBX? I've seen videos where xbox was faster by a lot and some where it was less than a second in favor of PS5.

The PS5 can’t exactly use the SSD speed to its full potential when the game itself is a PS4 app. It typically runs better on a PS5 game.
Play the console you like but base on the videos I've seen with these comparisons, if the game plays best on the Ps5 better than the X, it's a developer issue and not an Xbox/Microsoft issue. For instance; games at first would look best on Ps5 until patches are released and or upgrades. Ie cyberpunk, Hitman 3, etc. Again, both consoles are great though.
Hitman 3 was a fluke though and DF proved this in their in-depth performance analysis, putting it up against the PC to see what's going on. It's pretty interesting. As for Cyberpunk, the game also runs in BC and the Xbox version uses the One X with some custom cooked settings, opposed to the PS4 version. Developers are being lazy. As hell :/

Because the XSX is more powerful in both CPU and GPU. Micorosft overhauled their devkits in the "last minute" before launch. So a few launchgames actually ran better on PS5 in the beginning. Which lead some fools to believe that the PS5 had better graphics. As you can clearly see the difference is quite stark. The XSX will always be the superior machine in multiplatform games. Not that the PS5 is unplayable now. Far from it. Just stating facts. I dont have either consoles.
Volumetric lighting looks odd/not right on PS5. You get no sense of distance on the buildings that are further away. They look too sharp and clean 🤔

PS5 is clearly a great bit of kit, and I will be buying one once the bugs are ironed out (and when it's available), but they've been disappointing for years in terms of BC. I know the PS3 was stupidly designed, but they had some great games on it, would love to be able to keep playing them when my console inevitably dies on me, without having to rely on devs making remasters and remakes, dilutes the original somewhat too.
Xbox series X is doing amazing updates for the near future. Both companies released these consoles a bit to early in my opinion.

Tenho sempre a impressão que no PS5 está habilitado FULL RGB nas configurações e no Series S e X das pessoas que fazem teste deixam e padrão porém as Sombras e cores ficam muito melhores em Full RGB se muda fácil em configurações.

This is one of those games with BC upgrades like JFO and Battlefront 2. Xbox backward compatibility implementation is better so the game ultimately looks better on SX and SS.

It's because SX BC allows devs to easily upgrade last gen versions of their games with a patch whereas for PS5 they have to create an entire native port for the same features.

It's backwards compatibility mode. Xbox has better backwards compatibility and they are running at the limits of the last gen versions reasons why the ps4 pro hits the Max ps5 res at its best point.

Wow the Series S definitely keeps up pretty well.
But it seems that series X is finally showing off its capabilities, people can bash Xbox all the want about toolkits GDK, in the end that was the cause of the poor performance on the series X.
Not saying Ps5 doesn´t fare any worse, but PS5 in this case is the inferior version of Division 2 and Hitman 3.
I hope they keep optimizing all versions for the best performance as possible.

Yo noto la versión de ps5 que luce mejor. La versión de ps5 es más nítida y con mejor paleta de colores. En series x y s se ve muy opaco
Hhmmm, estas equivocado, puede notarse mejor pero las texturas son peores que las de xbox, en framrate si ganan pero en lo visual ahí si hay problemas
