Ok it’s 100% the game. My 5k pc shouldn’t have issues running call of duty. I’ve dialed everything back and been messing with Settings for the past week. Nothing works.
literally cannot play the game. I am so frustrated. I haven't been able to play in like 2 days. When I launch the game, it plays the intro cutscene, it then says its loading shaders and does all the startup loading stuff. It then cuts to this low res version of the armory or whatever it's called before going to a permanent black screen with the music still playing. I have reinstalled everything multiple times, scanned and repaired game files, updated my gpu drivers, literally nothing is fixing this.. I'm using a relatively new Radeon Rx 6700XT and a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X cpu with 32Gb of high speed ram.
Had the same issue 7800x and a 7900xt running at 4k ...so as of yet I had 4000 mhz ram I changed it to 3800 mhz and so far after several hours no crash
@@cal1k0 clear the shader cache from amd adrenaline. It will most likely get into game , after you in the game tweak the settings for less vram usage and if your using fsr and your hardware bit older use fsr1.0 rather than 2.1..
Ive pretty much figured its the game that is broken, memory leak or capability issues. I have a 13900k, 4090, ddr4 and havent had a issue before season 1 update. Ive ran across multiple people with a 13900k with the same error code i get. It mostly happens on MWZ and WZ on the new large map. It will skip for a second then game would freeze. I could be doing anything in game too. I dont overclock my hardware. I even tried down cloking the cpu.

Guys the Fix for me was Run game as Admin and in Graphics settings use CAS ON 80% Scaling and low all other settings i got a Ryzen 7 5700x with Rtx 3080 and its working now no crashes for more then 4 hrs

my game crashes exactly in Resurgence Map or Rebirth ontop or around StrongHold area- rest of the map works fine- this has been the case since last month updates - new updates didnt fix the issue. Rest of the game modes are working fine except Rebirth.

Don't take my word for it, but I wouldn't discard Activison/Microsoft are using a buggy code deliberately to break older pcs with older hardware components (something Apple definitely did with Ipods back in the day... fimware uptade and boom, you got a hard bricked device). I have a rx570 and i5-7500, which let me played warzone since 2020. The fps have dropped from 60 in 2020 to (unstable!) 20fps for this final iteration of warzone. The crazy thing is the game has crashed my pc several times and I started getting visual artifacts from my gpu apparently, probably from high temps... on the menu/lobby! At this point I can't even start a match, as it freezes on the "hide objectives" screen before the "warmup". Be careful when trying to push old hardware with overclocking, as it seems the code is meant to stress hardware components even on lowest settings.
Ed: Just now, after several weeks I finally managed to play some matches again (in quads resurgence). Solo resurgence still gets stuck in the "hide objectives" loading screen, confiming it wasn't hardware but software problem. In-game temps are now around 70c, confirming that the buggy code (I'm talking about the game code primarily, but also AMD drivers and windows as OS) was making the gpu run harder than it should even during menu/lobby, as if it was a stress test or some sort of memory leak etc. Anyways, things are stable (minus the ability to start a solo resurgence match), I had to update win10 to the lastest version and also re install AMD drivers several times (gave me a "Opencl not found" error for several days, amongs other errors). I'm very lucky the artifacts (green pixels, missings fonts) are gone at least for now: it's probably vram going faulty as it affects even the display of the board and piece while playing chess online or the fonts browsing the comments right here on youtube. Oh, for Warzone3, I'm also using 80% scale resolution (my native res is 2560 x 1080 (ultrawide) and low graphic settings in general: haven't tried full resolution to see if the crashes persist.

Have you overclocked any of your hardware? If you have remove the settings if you know how. This also includes disabling XMP in the BIOS.

The game needs a lot if work...I've also watched it consume over 80 percent of my vram at times and then weird stutter issues start...
Also had a friend with a 5700x and a 3080 his issue was that he had the game on a hard drive we hooked him up with an m.2 ssd and no more issues

Yeah I have the 4070ti and 13700k and it continuously does a micro freeze/stutter throughout the match and gets worse during combat.

Uninstall reWASD if you have it on your pc. I was having the same issue and it's the only thing that worked

Apple bricking ipods makes sense as they stand to get another ipod sale... Activision/Microsoft don't sell hardware and have no inventive to do that.

bottleneck i think i got the same issue i got a rx6750xt and Ryzen 5 3600 i think the cpu is more important than the gpu in this game
Bottleneck should not be the reason i run rtx 3080 and Ryzen 7 5800X and i have this problem for over a year
The only fix i found was to go to afterburner and go down all they way on all the clock speeds

If you have XMP enabled in your BIOS disable it and try again. Only do this though if you know how.
