I started watching and getting into f1 like last year when Max was dominating and I love the sport, and I always wanted to know why was Pastor Maldonado hated?
He wasn't exactly hated (by internet at least, who knows his fellow drivers lol) The internet just love to made fun of him because he's fast but reckless driver who tends to crashed a lot of times. He managed to get ONE race win, but when that happen, his garage caught fire after the race, cementing his meme driver status
The launch was great, tho. He overestimated the tire temperature and locked up. Not the greatest start, but not the worst I've seen. Belgium 1998 was awful
Much as it's fun to blame Maldonado, this one wasn't fully his fault, the guys in front got together so everyone checked up and he ran out of room. At least 50% not his fault.
