Hi, in all honesty, a really lovely video about my hometown, though I have to tell you, that what you've captured on camera, are only about 5% of things to see in the city - there are whole lovely neighborhoods, city quarters, parks, views, buildings etc... Prague has been rated as "the worlds most gorgeous city" in 2021 and that for a good reason... Hi Eddie and Helen. Totally agree, it's an amazing city with so much to do and excellent food and drink. Kozel dark beer is our favourite. We spent several New Year's (Silvestr's) there. Really miss it as we haven't been for a few years. As a traditional jazz fan it's great to hear the band on the Charles Bridge or on the Square. Wonderful video, it brought back many memories of our holidays.
I have never been, yet. Looks like a Beautiful city. It’s amazing how wonderful cities can be when you don’t let modern architects near them. Tyne river cruises could have been a possibility until all bar the ‘Quayside’ was either knocked down or replaced with glass and steel or flats.
Lovely video, Eddie. And no canned worms 😉. Me n Wor Lass did a 2 city break at least 15 years ago. Krakow (Poland) then a scary prop plane 🛩 flight to Prague. Both beautiful cities and well worth a visit.
This has made me want to visit again! I went for the first time last winter, it’s such a beautiful place ❤ I loved visiting Vysehrad which is a castle/fort, a bar called Repete with lovely staff and a medieval bar called Upavouka for lush food and drinks. It’s fab inside!
That's one great video Eddie, one of the very best. Puts your Felling video down the pecking order (in terms of scenery, ha ha). Went to Prague with a few friends some years ago but spent half the time in pubs. Typical Geordies. that was great, had my Stag there in 2003, took some fab pics of everywhere such as Charles Bridge, Opera House and St Wenceslas Square, loved the video, need to go back quickly
Easter 1993. Went there by bus. Covered in snow. Nobody spoke English and took ages to find somewhere to stay. Punk as a political movement was still active there. Saw Terry Waite in a restaurant. Walked everywhere. Magic city.

If you loved the views from the clock tower, you must, on a sunny 🌞? Day go to Above at the Vermont Hotel in the Toon. Cracking Views and it costs you a Drink. Beer, 🍺 wine 🍷 or Cocktail 🍸

You need to get out of the city centre in to the neighbourhoods. Zizkov is a particular favourite. Especially the tower
