Scooter Compression Fields are a serious threat to even the most seasoned of scooter riders. I don't think many people truly realize just how serious of a sport scooting is, and thus never give it the respect it deserves.
Ok I absolutely underestimated the title saying the game was broken. It's like if the secret aim of the game was finding different glitches. Stretching the game to both the game world, the UI and the controls. Truly brilliant.
Addenum: You can wallride off invisible walls, start off with a multiplierbased on how different your designed bike is from the actual randomly generated one, and you get bonuses from random glitches.
The only way some of these glitches could feasably occur is if the devs made an engine from scratch or something. Engines like Unity and Unreal come with prepackaged code for stuff like walking and not going wide. This makes the game kind of impressive in its own way. Im surprised it even loads.
The background music was a welcome touch The almost *complete* lack of any sound in that game during the livestream was borderline unsettling with everything else going on lol

What's strange is that there's something commendable about this game. Like it's held together with scotch tape and rubber cement, sure, but you can still tell someone put a lot of effort into it. Think about it like this, a toddler comes up to you and shows you a drawing they made, and it's easily the worst drawing you've ever seen, but you don't just criticize it and chuck it in the garbage, you say what you like about the drawing and put it on the fridge.

Like it doesn't matter, expressing you opinions about something doesn't mean you have to be better.
A common misconception of scootering is that they do it for fun. These people scoot exclusively to warp their body as they see fit. Many have died in this profession.

It looks like they tried to accommodate different character body types by changing the dimensions of the scooter, but for some reason made the character's model dependant on the scooter's model dimensions which would just defeats it's purpose in the first place. Then they tried for a correction system the pushes both the models to extremes and called it a day lol

This would be a very scary purgatory, imagine the only other moveable object in the world flings you and bends you to its will and trying to do most things would break everything. You try and do something and your basic motor skills are being changed constantly. True terrifying purgatory.
The feeling of contorting into the 4th dimension being flung to an alternate version of the skate park and back was quite an experience in my childhood

I feel like with an update or 2, this game could be just as good as Skate 3. There's clearly inspirations with how you can call the scooter and the customization, but there's not enough polish at the time of this video. I hope they kept working at it bc there's so much love and passion in it even tho its a mess in some spots.
Usually saying a near copy of another game is buggier than the original is stating the obvious, however with this game it's crazy as the game it copies is already insanely buggy.

Something, I don’t know what, tells me that either the play testers didn’t attempt to play test for longer than 3 seconds, or that they didn’t play test it at all.
