I think I understand why King and Queen act so differently. In King's song, he is constently resentful of the lightners "leaving him". What I think this means is that kids no longer find card games as fun, and they have declined in popularity over years and people have "abandoned them". I mean, he's a literal king of spades. However, in queen's song, she realizes that people enjoy the internet, using to to persuade others and is enjoying herself. There's also the line "Bow to me 'till the old world's gone", showing how glued people can be to social media.
I mean, that's the literal explanation. Darkners' backstories are based on what literally happened to the objects they're based on. The darkners in Chapter 1 have been abandoned and disgraced because that's what happened to the abandoned classroom. The darkners in Chapter 2 welcome lightners and Queen seeks to control them because they're based on the stuff in the computer lab.

The results would've been for the general phrase, not the missing sister Noelle was undoubtedly hoping to find. * When Noelle outright tells Queen that she didn't enjoy being a prisoner, Queen seemed to pause with shock and regret. Apparently, the meek deer hadn't objected to _anything_ as Queen's prisoner, so she had no basis for thinking it made her uncomfortable. *Queen sought to spread Dark Fountains across the Light World because it was implied to be a good idea by the Knight. When Ralsei explained why this would cause more harm than good, she quickly switched gears.
Even during her boss fight she says how everyone is already controlled by the Internet and her people enslaving them for real would just cut out the middle man in her mind
The line “ I’ll rule it my way cause that would be really cool,” pretty much sums up the Queen. She doesn’t really know what she’s doing she just thinks it would be fun

I can't overstate how much I love that tone shift at around 2:00 with "Well that's my sales pitch." Like, all of that stuff before wasn't actually what she meant, and her tone changes to be more playful and "join me." as opposed to intimidating; I think it fits her as well, as there is that point in the chapter where you realize that she's not... _that_ dangerous. Already seeing a few comments here and there comparing this video to mine so I'll get this out of the way: This is expertly made. The vocals from Lulu Grey are spectacular and fit Queen as a character perfectly. The ART. GOD I wish I could make stuff even close to as good as that. The vibrant colors, shading, and the overall composition are just beautiful. Now the Lyrics! I've already got a comment or two on my vid saying I did better, but I entirely disagree! These lyrics expertly tie into Queen's motives and the context of the fight, while also feeling like something Queen would actually say. (Which feel even more Queen-like coming from Lulu's mouth) And it all still has room to add in various references to ingame flavor text, and Inside(?) Overall, the MOTI-grade quality we've all come to expect. Y'all knocked it out of the park, as always. God DAMN is this good! The past couple months of content have just been fantastic. From Chrono Trigger coming to an amazing close, (Still hyped for the full "The Musical" vid btw) to ALL OF SONGTOBER, some absolute bangers of solo songs along the way, (PepsiMan, Dung Defender, and Doopliss to name a few,) and now a really stong return to Toby Fox-based content. It's all been so entertaining and I can't wait to see what comes next!

Queen has to be my favorite new character from Chapter 2. I loved her wacky way of doing things and her jokes always hit with me. This song really expresses how silly, yet powerful the Queen acts. And the VOICE it fits so well! This was perfect to start off the new rush of songs for Chapter 2.
The beginning lines are god damn art. "While I thrash your ass," It's so certain and stated in such way that unless you're fighting her, your intimidated.
This song was such a turning point in the game for Queen. Throughout the game she occasionally appears providing comic relief in her quest for Noelle. However, she felt very threatening here; Berdly was under mind control, and the tone of this song compared to her normal theme was such a shift. Despite her comical personality, she intends on expanding her Dark World, and will see through it to its end.
There currently two interpretations of the queen's voice: The melodramatic drama queen voice (sees this video for example), or GLADOS. Both are very good interpretations.

I love these songs for the way I get to see them use lyrics. The way words are sown in completely different and even romanticised ways that wouldn't normally come across unless you're well read. And then there's the higher order of themes which no good composition of literature could ever be without "A network built with Silicon will and me as the CPU" is a great example of incorporating the theme (since I haven't played but there seems to be an internet theme passing round) and juxtaposing the queen's raign to a computer. Silicon will. Makes something inatimate almost jump out at you as if it were living.
The internet theme is because Chapter 2 was based off a library computer lab, so most of the World's characters are based off forms of software or hardware, with Queen being implied to be a more advanced laptop
I just love the "Raise a glass while I thrash your **s!" It's a rhyme I would never have think about! Also, you know how having really advanced technology sounds like a "raise a glass" but if you go to the actual internet, a really advanced technology, you can easly find the "thrash you **s" part.

"And December Holiday" caught me off guard, that was one of the parts of the game that most interested me, when I figured out what it meant it hit me quite hard.

I can't overstate how much I love that tone shift at around 2:00 with "Well that's my sales pitch." Like, all of that stuff before wasn't actually what she meant, and her tone changes to be more playful and "join me." as opposed to intimidating; I think it fits her as well, as there is that point in the chapter where you realize that she's not... _that_ dangerous.

Already seeing a few comments here and there comparing this video to mine so I'll get this out of the way:
This is expertly made. The vocals from Lulu Grey are spectacular and fit Queen as a character perfectly. The ART. GOD I wish I could make stuff even close to as good as that. The vibrant colors, shading, and the overall composition are just beautiful. Now the Lyrics! I've already got a comment or two on my vid saying I did better, but I entirely disagree! These lyrics expertly tie into Queen's motives and the context of the fight, while also feeling like something Queen would actually say. (Which feel even more Queen-like coming from Lulu's mouth) And it all still has room to add in various references to ingame flavor text, and Inside(?) Overall, the MOTI-grade quality we've all come to expect. Y'all knocked it out of the park, as always.
God DAMN is this good! The past couple months of content have just been fantastic. From Chrono Trigger coming to an amazing close, (Still hyped for the full "The Musical" vid btw) to ALL OF SONGTOBER, some absolute bangers of solo songs along the way, (PepsiMan, Dung Defender, and Doopliss to name a few,) and now a really stong return to Toby Fox-based content. It's all been so entertaining and I can't wait to see what comes next!

Queen has to be my favorite new character from Chapter 2. I loved her wacky way of doing things and her jokes always hit with me. This song really expresses how silly, yet powerful the Queen acts. And the VOICE it fits so well! This was perfect to start off the new rush of songs for Chapter 2.

This song was such a turning point in the game for Queen. Throughout the game she occasionally appears providing comic relief in her quest for Noelle. However, she felt very threatening here; Berdly was under mind control, and the tone of this song compared to her normal theme was such a shift. Despite her comical personality, she intends on expanding her Dark World, and will see through it to its end.
There currently two interpretations of the queen's voice:
The melodramatic drama queen voice (sees this video for example), or GLADOS.
Both are very good interpretations.

I love these songs for the way I get to see them use lyrics. The way words are sown in completely different and even romanticised ways that wouldn't normally come across unless you're well read.
And then there's the higher order of themes which no good composition of literature could ever be without
"A network built with Silicon will and me as the CPU" is a great example of incorporating the theme (since I haven't played but there seems to be an internet theme passing round) and juxtaposing the queen's raign to a computer. Silicon will. Makes something inatimate almost jump out at you as if it were living.
The internet theme is because Chapter 2 was based off a library computer lab, so most of the World's characters are based off forms of software or hardware, with Queen being implied to be a more advanced laptop

I love how this song A) highlights queens goofiness whilst still portraying her as a Threat and B) Actually explains her plan of “I’ve seen that the light world is beyond saving so Why not make it all the dark world under me”. A good Lyrical adaptation should take the In game dialogue from the fight and expand on it, and I think this does it perfectly
