Everyone should go watch and support this series. The storyline, the couple, the chemistry between the two actresses are all 10x better than Nevertheless. That was a cute series but this one is a masterpiece. Plus we get so much content from the two girls after the show ended because they got really popular in China. They’re close in real life too.

I do heavily recommend the series just because of the plot, the set up and the characters but I must say that the ship is the icing on the cake.
It’s very unlikely that the two will end up together as a loving “couple” but they will have lots and I mean *lots* of screen time together, caring and helping each other and all that. And on the bright side, because they are “friends”, we won’t be having to worry about other men trying to ruin our fav Girls ship :D

1. Is this a Gl?
Yes,... but actually no. This isn't an officially gl drama because Chinese censorship is really serious when it comes to lgbt+ contents.
2. So do they like each other?
They never said it out loud but by watching the films, we all realize that their feelings for each other have changed romantically through the difficulties they faced, especially after overcoming them together. Moreover, there are a lot of hints indicating them being more than friends in the drama that you mightn't notice (Morse code "I love you" in OST, lesbian dating app symbol).
3. Will there be a ss2?
YES. They will start filming ss2 as early as Q2 of this year (2022) because Zhang Nan is currently on another project and they even have plans for ss3!
There are a lot of things to look forward to as the scripwriter said there would be even sweeter moments between them without any heterosexuality.
An important fact you need to know: The film is the original! The manhua was adapted from the film. Please dont misundertand and negatively compare the film to the manhua for their differences. Both did their jobs well.
