    How wide of a board are you starting with on the heads? More questions to come but feel like an essay to you here isn't best option 😂

      No worries please ask! So I buy my cedar in 3 inch thickness and 1 inch thickness so most of my heads come out of 3 inch

      Ok so here goes. Why cork vs wood? Cedar vs white oak? Tan cork more durable than black? Durability of heads why you use wood instead of cork for heads and tails? Thank you for your work and videos. Definitely love the art

      @@shawn5141 cork and cedar are both good, they cost about the same and cork being a tad easier to get. Black cork is just “nasty” to work with and more to get sealed up too. Cedar vs oak, easier to carve and is lighter in weight.
