  • Four Broncos make an impromptu run up to the start of the Rubicon Trail for a Sunday Afternoon of goofing around on the first few obstacles. We went through the Gatekeeper, Granite Bowl, the Ledges and lunch at the Beer Tree. Then back out again. Things went bump, things were ground and fun was had.

Good job👍👍👌👌👌 A few more inches of height and 39 inch tires would be really good for the Rubicon Trail, I just don’t know if it was lifted since it is available now on the market if it would mess up the suspension or not? But you did a good job with a pretty much stock bronco raptor, that was awesome and you’re brave!!!!

@@jonluchessi1643 thanks! I just measured the impact on my clearance (actually ride height) vs stock Braptor as I’m about to do a Hypercoil 2”/1” lift in October and 39” K02s next year after a little more tread life is used up. Ive lost about an inch of ride height (measured at bottom edge of flares directly over the hubs) all the way around due to weight of winch/winch plate, rear bumper, frame mount sliders, and shock, rear lower arm and diff skids. Then those skids have cost me up to an inch at all the long hanging places. It’ll be nice to get that cleaned back!

How did the BRaptor do? I am hitting the trail Wednesday with my BRaptor?

@@AngerManagementOverland for the portion of the trail I did, it did fine. It’d do the ‘con better if it had a straight front axle/suspension, but then it wouldn’t do what a Braptor does best. Have fun and let me know your thoughts on the entire trail!
