I've watched a lot of cut out videos, even did a few, but none of that stuff is on any list I've seen. How creative. lol. Great job! You forgot the beer though mate.

Great vid as always fellas!! I find it so weird and interesting that after you pry off the siding there's just nothing between it and the drywall! no insulation or barriers or anything!

You should get large rubber bands and hook over each corner on one side which creates a bed to lay comb on aand then put two more ands on from top to bottom corners which holds the comb in.
Love your videos, entertaining but also informative. Keep them coming… 😁👍🍀🇮🇪

LoL only thing I seen that i would have done differently is place the comb in the direction it was built . Great job on the rescue ❤️🐝👍

Yes it'll be interesting to see if the bees will install brood when the combs are sideways tilted. Comb installed upsidedown doesn't work, but sideways?? Let us know how they go in that comb.

Have you tried rubber bands to attach the brood into the frames? I’ve used them and it works for me perfectly. The bees end up chewing the rubber band and tossing it out of the hive as soon as they can, by that time they will propolis the brood to the frame

I use rubber bands diagonal corner to corner and the comb just lays in so nice and then do the same on the other side to secure the comb. It works really well! Thanks!

Use elastic bands to hold the comb in place

Rubber bands to hold on the comb in the frames and the comb needs to be same way up as it came out

What great work . Keep doing it your way . I liked your scoop up box but ya like you said the fill pipe may need a little work but great idea . Did you have all your colonies make it out of winter. I hope you have the best season this year you have ever had. Keep your video’s coming when possible THANKS

Make a valve to lower the suction pressure. A gentle vacuum will suck them up fine. No damage etc. Build a catch box out of a ten frame. The bottom board should be tall enough ya accept the inlet of the vacuum hose. Your cover board should have the pressure valve and hose connector to the vacuum. Fill the ten frame with ten frames / plastic foundation. Have a sliding screen or valve to open into a proper ten frame upon completion of removal and now set up. Place the home ten frame in place. Open valve to allow bees to crawl up into the new hive waiting. Return in 72 hours for orientation flight and separation of vacuum and hive box. Set new hive on intended stand and hope for the best.

Great stuff but I think your over thinking it trying to reinvent the wheel I use an empty frame with rubber bands after a week or to they will remove the rubber bands

I always enjoy your stuff. Thanks. I hope to learn from your adventures. Btw, I’m researching Apis Cerana. This is a species that Australia wants to eradicate. My place on Mindanoa, province Misamis, the Philippines, will need pollination. I see plenty of Kululut ( Tetragonula ) and I’m told that the predominant native species is the Apis Cerana. As my staff are less then half the men we are, size and stature only, I’m thinking horizontal hives that mimic floor joists in size and spacing would be the way to go. The Japanese use a different method all together.

With the critics if I get any I ask t them to come and show me how to do it when you have 15000 to 20000 bees to collect that will change there minds just throw them in deep end and stand back and watch them strudelcritics they just talk but I guarantee you they have never done any fizical work all talk put you hands where you mouth is you critics.

I was thinking that too. The fact that he changed what he was going to do because someone criticised his methods. Bee man knows what he is doing 😊
