    Lyrics:
    Saint Anger 'round my neck
    Saint Anger 'round my neck
    He never gets respect
    Saint Anger 'round my neck
(You flush it out, you flush it out) Saint Anger 'round my neck
(You flush it out, you flush it out) He never gets respect
(You flush it out, you flush it out) Saint Anger 'round my neck
(You flush it out, you flush it out) He never gets respect
Fuck it all and no regrets, I hit the lights on these dark sets
I need a voice to let myself, to let myself go free
Fuck it all and fucking no regrets, I hit the lights on these dark sets
Medallion noose, I hang myself, Saint Anger 'round my neck
I feel my world shake like an earthquake
Hard to see clear, is it me, is it fear?
I'm madly in anger with you
I'm madly in anger with you
    Saint Anger 'round my neck
    Saint Anger 'round my neck
    He never gets respect
    Saint Anger 'round my neck
(You flush it out, you flush it out) Saint Anger 'round my neck
(You flush it out, you flush it out) He never gets respect
(You flush it out, you flush it out) Saint Anger 'round my neck
(You flush it out, you flush it out) He never gets respect

I need a voice to let myself, to let myself go free
Fuck it all and fucking no regrets, I hit the lights on these dark sets
Medallion noose, I hang myself, Saint Anger 'round my neck
I feel my world shake like an earthquake
Hard to see clear, is it me, is it fear?
I'm madly in anger with you
I'm madly in anger with you
I'm madly in anger with you
I'm madly in anger with you
And I want my anger to be healthy
And I want my anger just for me
And I need my anger not to control
And I want my anger to be me
And I need to set my anger free
And I need to set my anger free
    Set it free!
Fuck it all and no regrets, I hit the lights on these dark sets
I need a voice to let myself, to let myself go free

@ridian what exactly is bad about this song? I have genuinely no idea what people are talking about in the negative comments. This song is nowhere as good as master of puppets or the unforgiven 1&2, but it’s still great?
EDIT: yeah live versions without that terrible snare are 100 times better :D

@@Bavarian_Lifting most probably because of the snare drum. Also they hated the way James and Lars treated Newsted. Moreover they can't accept the fact that Rob replaced Newsted.

I remember my dad calling me from Prison saying that Metallica came and preformed an they had Rob from Suicidal on bass. This was a while before st anger dropped so I thought he was full of shit. You cant see him in the video but in the some kind of monster doc you can see him clear as day a few times chillin near Kirk. This absolutely blew my 11yr old mind lol. Dont have many stories about my pops so this was definitely a highlight. Kindof sad to say but it is what it is. RIP Dad.

Came out very fuzzy, but I remember this video and tripped out how it was filmed in SQ and the stories within the video. Ended up doing close to 18 years and have been out five years now. Watching this video clearly now on RUclips as a free man, at almost 41 years age, it hits different. Feel the pain of every story within the video. So much variety yet soul and innovation behind everything they do. Still the case with the more recent albums, but they've since fallen into a bit of a familiar rhythm.
