So I take it this was about 5 minutes before the ultramarines busted trough the door and locked Magnus in the box
"NO PATHETIC BOX CAN HOLD ME"
I CATO SICARIUS WILL NOW TAKE AWAY YOUR OUIJA BOARD AND LOCK YOU INTO THIS BOX, FOR I CATO SICARIUS KNIGHT CHAMPION OF MACRAGE AM THE GREATEST OF THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL!
YOU HAVE NO HONOUR!!!!
"I CAST FIST!"
Nah, man, when they grabbed him was at an even FUNNIER point in time. According to Alfa, they literally kidnapped (daemonnapped?) him during the afterparty.
Ok. The TTS voices were WAY better.
Magnus lacks the whole chaos echo though. He had it in TTS before he got his soul back so why not here?
Agreed
Matihood1 it’s there but it’s very faint
I prefer magnus's old voice tbh
I prefer Ahriman's non-TTS voice though
"The crimes of the past mean nothing"
*proceeds to exact vengeance for Prospero*
-That's TTS logic to you.
well not AHRIMAN'S crimes, per se...
He means the crimes committed by Ahriman and those that were exiled with him after the Rubric, given what is at state and Ahriman's knowledge of the the Fenrisian webway gates his previous crimes against the TS were forgotten.
Hypocrasy at its finest. Like fucking father like fucking son
As the man emperor of mankind once said "like fucking father like fucking son"
This is canon.
This IS the canon version.

CST Graphpads I think what Magnus is trying to mean is "The crimes of the past will mean nothing compared to what is about to happen on Fenris."
@@commanderbacara225 no j think he mean his traitor legion.
Remind me please at which point of the past Rus' dogs stopped being furfags?
@@nickkorkodylas5005 while the Space Wolves have always been furries, their ideologies have drastically changed from 30k to 40k. The 30k space wolves would obliterate all traces of an enemies civilization, doing so to inflict as much to do damage and focus on that, while the 30k space wolves ideology as turned them into protectors of the citizens of the Imperium, going so far as to have a war against the Inquisition over surviving citizens of a planet that had a chaos invasion
@@commanderbacara225 to be more precise, Magnus forgives Ahriman and other wayward Thousand Sons for their errors, but Magnus declares vengeance against the Space Wolves

You can't even understand the power of him, Cato Sicarius, because him, Cato Sicarius, is a master in teeth reparation, and with the help of me, Random Apothecary, he could manage to replace his teeth, in the name of the glorious second company of the Ultramarines.
Cato Sicarius Hello myself.
Dear Cato Sicarius .
Here's a mesage of our dear comendant about yours actions of the last week:
"HOW DID YOU KILL A TIRANID PRINCE WITH A STEEL GLADIUS ????"
Because of TTS, I can only accept zegram as the voice of Magnus. This is a good thing.

It's ironic what in Warhammer 40k Odin leads egyptian army against vikings.
Dr. Eggman I never thought of that xD
Dr. Eggman But Vikings worship Odin tho… lol
That's why it's ironic...
Why would Magnus be Odin? Just because he has one eye?
Chris Taylor Really!? Ohhh…
I didn't think TTS Magnus could actually sound intimidating.
I was wrong.
Crimes of the past mean nothing still going to kill the descendants of people you hate
Spite is not hate, it’s prejudice and the Thousand Sons definitely have that towards the Sons of Russ. I’m more than 99% sure that their goal was never to destroy Fenris, just leave it broken and changed. Like some kind of sadistic game of balance.
devo342 Yeah make the Space Wolves walk in the shoes of the Thousand Sons and know what's it like be shunned and persecuted and their homeworld burned.
He was referring to the Thousand Sons own infighting, specifically Ahriman casting the Rubric to terrible cost for the whole legion.

Better than orginal. This voice makes Magnus "human with personality". Not another super bad guy, with "badass" voice. Its just my opinion.
"Fenris will burn, it's seas will boil" sounds like a calm and quiet year for that death world
furry paradise is an ice world no?
@@devontheundivided9815 Most of the year? Yes. During one part of the year? The oceans literally boil, volcanos erupt, and a bunch of the islands are literally destroyed. It is dubbed the "Season of Fire."

This shows how seriously the voice acting in TTS can be taken, and it sounds really good. I love this.

Sweet Emperor, I love TTS Magnus' voice~!
Yes, his voice is so distinct and easy to remember while also being epic....just like John Hurt
absolutely, they really should use his voice actor officially
Australian accent
I want to marry that voice.
Funny enough, he did the Great Horned Rat in [Slaaneshmas Is Over], which is the complete opposite of his usual, Silky smooth Zegram voice.
Having watched the original before hand and found this...I prefer the voices, especially Magnus'. Ahriman sounds better period because it's more imaginative, but Magnus? Original Magnus sounded like a stereotypical scary guy, with his deep voice. This Magnus sounds like a person, and while he should sound a lot less scarier, as he sounds more human, you hear the 'venom' more in the TTS Magnus' voice when he gets to the end of the speech. You can really hear how much he hates Leman Russ and his legacy in those words and it sounds real.
TTS handled this voice range and distinction a lot better.
@@timoylumontad3920
It's weird isn't it
@Sol Zen Hm,i find them both to be good though i do indeed prefer the TTS Magnus voice i feel it is good but a mix of two voices would sound pretty cool maybe having the original trailer voice speak in the tone of the TTS one would be more fitting for the official voice of Magnus the Red lord of Prospero,Daemon Primarch of Tzeentch, and father of the thousand sons traitor legion
Plus you can see the emotions between them during the dialogue, compared to the Original where it comes off as a bit...flat. At least that's what I think.
A demon must sound more creepy and scary i guess

Should have had a cut scene to some Blood Ravens wondering why they have an urge to "borrow" any artefacts left in the rubble of Fenris, with a double double cut scene of Magnus trying to wink knowingly with one eye then failing.
Headcannon: blood ravens originated from a small groups of thousand sons whomst remained loyal to Big E
@@alizard7617 Lore drop incoming!
In the Age of Darkness short story Rebirth, Revuel Arvida is the last survivor of a Thousand Sons scouting party from a ship that made it back to Prospero. *The end of the story has him saying "knowledge is power" and focusing on the Raven of the Corvidae cult on his pauldron (also, the rest of his armor is red).* He gets off of Prospero with the help of the White Scars later, after surviving for ages alone without food or water whilst fighting psychneuin, then getting involved in a fight against Mortarion's bodyguards (need we add that this was a fight between the Terminator elites of two Legions, and Arvida survived despite being clad in regular power armour), and finally creating a psychic beacon to get his and the Scars' arses off the planet. Except that wasn't final, as he spent four years at war beside the Scars, fighting the flesh-change, bitch-slapping Eidolon with his psychic powers and guiding the entire Legion fleet to Terra through the Webway. Compare his name to "Azariah Vidya," the earliest recorded (though not the first) Chapter Master of the Blood Ravens.... Azari*ah Vidya.*
@@sd501st5 lmao vidya
Year late, but didn't Arvida merge with a shard of Magnus's broken soul and become one of the founders of Grey Knights? That unfortunately removes the possible link between him and the Chapter Master of Blood Ravens, though other hints (unknown founding and Primarch, crapton of psykers in their ranks, "Knowledge is Power" etc.) towards Ravens being the descendants of loyalist Thousand Sons still remain.
@@sofija1996 Well the Blood Ravens work alongside the Grey Knights from time to time. They helped the Blood Ravens in both Kronus and Kaurava.

*YES*
Ahriman's voice sounds like petrified silk
I mean, he did own the literal best winery in the entire galaxy, so...
Magnus' voice is such a perfect blend of nerdy and badass.
I honestly can't imagine Magnus without Zegram's voice now.
I can't even like the original Wrath of Magnus trailer now. Their Magnus just sounds like such a generic big bad... and that's without that overused echo effect.
It's... hard to say. Magnus is old and he is based on Odin. I do must admit what he's voice does sound too generic in original trailer.
Dr. Eggman Generic, yes, but it's been stated in cannon that the Primarchs had deep voices.
Roeg There is still different kinds of "deep voices", besides "I'M SO UNEMOTIONAL AND MONOTONIC". I don't have anything against original trailer (trailer itself is a very well done) and voicing there is fine, it's just isn't GREAT.
the dude is 10,000 years old, plus whatever the warp does to you, cut him some slack lol
Yeah, there's just no emotion in the voices in the original trailer. It sounds like they are just reading a script that was handed to them 2 minutes prior. The voices in the original are not bad, but without any sort of effort to actually act, it just comes off as boring and dragging.
"The crimes of the past are meaningless."
Then why do you still hold a grudge against the Space Corgies?
Because there is a massive difference between setting aside philosophical disagreements between factions within a greater whole, and forgiving the people you don't like anyway who torched your home world.
Surely by now Magnus would know that Leman was doing it on Horus's behalf not Emps.
How on earth would he have found out? The only ones who would know are Russ and Horus. Russ is missing and presumed waiting for GW to advance the timeline, while Horus was killed, cloned, and then killed again. Even if Russ or a loyalist who heard the Emperor's original, non-sacking orders told Magnus, he might very well refuse to believe this.
I'm not that versed into the lore but i assumed that in 10 fucking millenia a primarch would be capable of finding the truth and that HH was a big ass mistake and yet we still have CSM serving the ruinous powers thinking they are doing the right thing.
And btw thanks for the info.
*"Wrath of magni-magic"* Just doesn't carry the same gravitas

Too many interpretations either lean too far into Magnus's intellectual side while forgetting Magnus's propensity for childish impulsiveness and anger. Zegran is capable of sounding remarkably intelligent, yet exceedingly arrogant.

you should do the fall of cadia trailer as well
This trailer is just a zoom on Cadia with mere narration, not much interesting stuff going on to me
Eliphas the Inheritor the narration is good, maybe animate it so it looks more interesting, like Abaddon speaking to a massive congregation of traitors
*****
Another problem is that Abbadon's voicer is still not confirmed for TTS I think, even though there is one person Alfa had in mind, but I'm probably not allowed to publicly reveal it until he appears.
Eliphas the Inheritor No worries, just an idea. Hell you could do his voice just for fun
its karl, isn't it.
This trailer was the definition of:
"Let's forgett about the past, instead: let's focus on the past!"
“Back in World War Two, Walter and I were part of a top secret government operation called Operation: Kraut Control.”
Why was the video taken down and reuploaded?
Also, I was expecting the end to cut to the Emperor telling Magnus to stop being a salty crybaby.
So was I
I suspect that Magnus wouldn’t be in the Imperial Palace for much longer. He will probably help Kitten Escape Mars, but afterwards part ways soon after learning that the Emperor was been orchestrating Leman Russ’ return... most likely to prepare for it by doing this.
@@fumarc4501
Well right now he's heading for the Black Library where he'll no doubt run into Cegorach. How he'll gain access is another question seeing as how the latter would not be keen on letting in a half daemon. Maybe a game of Paradox-billiards-Vostroyan-roulette-fourth-dimensional-hypercube-chess-strip-poker? If he DOES get access he'll probably be in there for quite a while.
@@philiproe1661 He'll probably just mention he's a friend of Kitten's. We already know via Custodisi and Whamuudes, two of the "Pillarstodes" as I call them, that Kitten probably spent an inordinate amount of time in the Black Library, absorbing facts, so we know Cegorach was totally OK with having the Captain General of the Emperor of Mankind's personal bodyguards in there.
Still can’t get over the pure venom Zegram gives Magnus’ voice. Truly a perfect choice for the character.
It’s like with the Chad Vader guy getting to voice Darth Vader in the Force Unleashed. I love those occasions when the parody gets put away and a devoted fan gets to play the legendary role “for real.”

Zegram's voice will always be Magnus the Red's to me.
The way he speaks as Magnus carries both a depth and feeling that show a tragic figure who wanted to stay loyal but who unknowingly fell in the process.
Though Ahriman's voice isn't as good.

ahrimans voice here is INFINITELY superior to the official--magnus's voice is fine for TTS, but honestly no primarch would sound like...this..

Wait... But why Zegram don't have the same voice modifier he used for Soulless/Daemon Magnus? It's just doesn't feel chaosy enough without it (he isn't a half-daemon here, after all).
I just thought he looked closer to his normal appearance in TTS than his daemon form, so it'd be more fitting to not have any daemonic filter like in the original series.
Fair enough, I think.
I do wonder... Shouldn't Magnus voice be older? I know what time flows different in the warp, but still...
NO OFFENCE TO ZEGRAM! His voice is great, he does fantastic job as Magnus in TTS and (even though I love generic evil voices, yes, I have sinned) he has a distinct personality and emotions in his voice.
Dr. Eggman
That would be a question to ask to Alfabusa, since he is the one who choosed Magnus' voicer.
In my case I do think it should sound a bit older and stuff, but in the end it is rather unique that way.
