Toby, thanks for awesome maps - the Testing Grounds would be perfect if you add a Changing Booth to it. I would really love to test ADS and other stuff on other skins without pressure of fighting others.
They need to put more workbenches around the map. Not even in the vaults anymore, just the bunkers that aren't open when you need em.
Right? I'm basically always full of gold because I don't get to mod my guns every match.
True .. sometimes the vault opens in storm too ....
Personally tho... I like the game better when it's left more to chance...
And I dislike how long it takes to really get used to a weapon now and figure out whats attachments are best for you... every time you pick one up its different ...
Now while it's nice to be able to add a scope too a sniper with out one... the mods also become a crutch too Ohh i gotta get a mod bench to change this ...
Personally, the mod benches should be removed... or there should be a mode with out them at least..
A simple game was more fun and less complicated.... alot of times i dont even bother modding them and just use what i find..
Before chapter 5 everyone was fine with the weapons the way they were
Getting the mods done in 5.2 feels much easier to access than before with vaults and bosses. I like it that way.
I agree with @ryandanielable and I think that the bunkers opening after the third storm enforce players to try different weapons

Yep, I had a purple gatekeeper with a drum and took down the guy with the mythic. Took all my willpower to not pickup the mythic but the extra shots were to valuable
My opinion this season is if the Gatekeeper has a drum mag then I take, otherwise it's the frenzy.
Out of all the Fortnite content creators I find yours the best that has helped me. Thats why I used your name when I brought my battle pass.

Toby if you saw my video on the gatekeeper the glitch isn't just on right shoulder peeks. We were able to shoot though head glitches and even a full flight of stairs while crouched on the other side. And yeah the word is getting out because I am dying to the glitch more often now than when it first came out

I had no idea any shotguns were effective at those ranges. I was using primarily the AR or Burst and getting smoked at these ranges. Now I know why. Another game changing piece of info from Master Shinobi!
Another great video! I honestly think the Gatekeeper is the best shotgun, but thats when you not facing a jumping monkey with a Frenzy Auto Shotgun... Keep up the great work though ❤ I have improved so much, in fact today I got another solo ranked crowned victory royale!

This new update made the game way to crazy , before this update it was good but now I have full shield and health and one shot I get killed or someone will be jumping around and no scope me and kill me with one shot on the first try on ps5 I don’t understand a lot of what Happens anymore , common weapon one shot im dead with full stats while my legendary gun don’t do nothing to them it’s crazy

Been using that “glitch” on bunker either im inside or outside its so op 😂 they dont know what hit them.
Gatekeeper with speed grip, no scope and drum, I still put the break on for good measure even if the value isn't there.....the way I play ....(very in your face) circling and sidestepping very close quarters, being able to land the ADS kill shot while circling barely dodging a shot is very satisfying
The laser only tightens the spread when a gun is continuously fired
So the first shots spread is the same with or without the laser
Thats why when your not shooting the Thunder burst the spread appears normal but when you start firing it the spread becomes completely accurate
Does it still tighten when you tap spray as well or do you have to hold the trigger?
I silence my entire loadout when possible. I like it when no one can hear my fights w others, especially loud weaponry like shotties or snipers. Warforge assault w silencer on it is extremely extremely OP. It literally has NO recoil when suppressor is added w red dot, drum mag, and foregrip.

I don’t know if you have control over glitches but when I’ve played the past few days, I get continuous successive level up notices. It’s distracting. Just FYI

Hey! I've only been playing for about three months and your videos have been super helpful. I especially like the Shinobi Testing Grounds and was wondering how difficult it was to make it. I would like to create something like that too but have no idea where to even begin. Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated. My idea is to create a map that simulates boss battles, but without the frustration of always getting third partied seconds after I kill the boss. :(

Hm, ok yeah the distance is a good call. Im used to jumping into people to hopefully confuse and outplay them, but I guess with this shotty, is a bit worse against afrienzy, cause I can't really afford to whiff shots and the range thingy, so having a little more controlled fight i guess is a better call when using this one.

I can fire 3 shot with the pump irl in the time it takes to to fire and rack one shot in game.... they should increase the "shoot & rack" time and make the reloading slow.
2 seconds is an extremely long, frustrating, nerve wracking lifetime in a fire fight w someone so the gatekeepers reload time is CLUTCH

Not sure if have really tried the red dot scope tho...
If ya put it on the pump the pellet spread gets tighter... more pellets that hit = more dmg ...
I'm also a person who hated
scopes on shotguns till i realized this... now as wierd as it is still its well worth it ... also add angled foregrip to ads faster, aim in quick pop the shot then swap...

Dealing tiny amounts of damage is not only useful for pressure/confusion but also to prevent the overshield from regenerating
2:25, mythic one does 93 structure damage, you can 2 shot fully built wooden builds, very broken. Im still picking up the mythic variant

What I find odd is that the gatekeepers are much more available. I find them on the regular, but frenzy not so much.

In ranked zero build you have to use that gatekeeper glitch because most players are using it
Love the gatekeeper its sick, I usually 2 tap everyone with it or 3 tap.
Btw nice video alltho that 50 meter frenzy doing damage was a bit useless since with 5 dmg its basically nothing, why would I use the frenzy if I can melt someone with an AR at that range 15 times faster? I guess its still good to know tho, but pretty useless.
Keeps overshield from regenning, much easier to hit a pellet spread on someone shockwaving out quickly, etc . If they are literally 5hp til death. Also good for finding people in bushes, etc.
Honestly. This season could be peak if they vault the frenzy. But i understand if there has to be a auto shotgun in any given meta.
I wanna point out how, at the 15 meter range you used the Gatekeeper shotgun at, Is the same damage values you'd get from a Rare, Epic, and Legendary Combat shotgun.
And additional, 67 is The exact damage needed to 3 shot 200 hp.

I always carry 2 gatekeeper shotguns.
I don't see why the laser would help with damage? It just says for hip fire accuracy. So the laser should only help you aim without looking down sights.

I guess math is weird bc I'm still getting 2-tapped by white/green frenzy and gatekeeper shotguns. It's only certain players though and it seems most of them have less than a few hours in their account. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
if you want to just keep one gun type out just run double smg or something XD pump and new shotgun is for fast chunk damage leading to a swap to smg. stick with the semi shotty for keeping out the shotgun but smg is generally better for that still. just my opinion
ext mag is good idea, especially for non solo modes no matter what guns you have. often who runs out first determines fights.

i dont like the gatekeeper shotgun. to many times i hit my shots chest or head and the enemy was still alive. switching to another gun is a death sentence. I will stick to the frenzy.

The workbenches are being camped immediately. I agree with the comment below. There should be more workbenches. You think they would have learned from last season.
Also hating the medallions again this season. Already tired of running into people with multiple medallions at the end. It’s not Fortnite. It’s The Medallion LTM. Players should only be able to carry one super power medallion at a time. More players would get a chance to use them and the end fights would be much more fair for everyone.
Why does Epic constantly give the sweatiest most aggressive players even bigger advantages than they already have?
Epic, giving already sweaty aggressive players bigger advantages just makes average players want to stop playing your game.
Pellets are not random. Since chapter 1 season 5 they made the pellet pattern the same for every shot

I feel like glitches with benefits should be patched but funny glitches should stay
This is all great and all but we can’t upgrade the weapons till the 3rd zone. I’ve had games with about 10 ppl left, and by that time no point modding weapons. I seem to always have 5K gold as I just can’t spend it. Epic needs to let ppl upgrade weapons earlier in games tbh.

The auto just doesn’t do it for me this season. I’m loving the gatekeeper, sure it’s only got 3 to 5 shots but it’s more consistent than the pump. Also if you have “Panic Mode Aim” the auto may seem like a better option, but if you want to better your aim without the inconsistency of the pump the gatekeeper will help you.
The laser with the frenzy at range feels like an actual bug. Might be worth submitting a report...
Idk what’s wrong with this game in this new season - I can barely reach 5th place in match, my lobby is always sweats only.
And it’s something else besides sweats in this season - I can barely land a shot, it seems like game starts to show 40-50 fps in moments where I start fighting instead of regular 100-120 in other situations…
For example, in creative maps like reds vs blues nothing like this happens and I always be the best player by most kills but in actual zerobuild match my connection, fps & shots accuracy just flyes away!

hm actually in range like 10 15 you should not headshot or body shot with gate keeper. put it around the neck for most damage. you just didn't check the range in between.
I died to a guy earlier who was shooting through walls, I reported him for hacking

I have died to sniper rifles almost every single game I hope they take them out.
Same, I literally just commented that lol my Buddy qualified for the FNCS and he’s even like these snipers are ridicules, we legit can’t even get into any CQB combat because the entire lobby is just sniping it’s not even fun anymore and I get it being a good sniper is a hard earned skill but when the entire lobby’s are just sniping is stupid and boring
I never die to snipers. Maybe onces every 20 + games and it's because I engaged him or made a mistake.
Never a out of nowhere shot. Because I look everywhere and avoid being in open areas.
Why do you run in open areas. why do you enter a zone without looking around first.
You just lack awareness.
I'm tired of blind players blaming the sniper when their gameplay is the problem. USE YOUR EYES. BE SMART. DONT PUT YOURSELF IN DANGER. USE COVERS. ITS EASY

The pump is so bad it’s annoying, I’ve always liked pump shottys instead of the spray and pray shottys but it’s just so bad compared to the other shotguns
I wish they would take snipers out of zero build, I play in PC lobbies since that’s what my friends play on pc I’m on console, after we hit Olympus or hades, and we clean up the CQB literally all the rest of the players are snipers and it really takes the fun out of the game, because they rat strat the whole time and snipe everyone we can’t even get in any CQB combat because the sniping is so bad, I mean I get it being a good sniper is an earned skill but for seriously when the whole lobby is wanting to be Chris Kyle it really gets old fast
You need to go back to the drawing board and check why YOU put yourself in situations where snipers kill you.
You might lack awareness, snipers are so easy to deal with.
We wont take out snipers because less skilled players blame them instead of looking inwards and look whats wrong with their gameplay first.
