We're back at Nick Universe for my first visit in a long time! Foolishly, I made a mistake and didn't check the maintenance schedule before visiting. Shellraiser and Sandy's Blasting Bronco were both down! Whoops.
Anyway, did you know Nick Universe swapped over to having no general admission for the park but now you have the option of using a points pass or buying a wristband that will let you on all the rides an unlimited amount of times. I think the best value is definitely the wristband if you're gonna go on more than 3-4 rides.
The new arcade, carnival games and snack spots are a big improvement over the grab n go location that was previously in the park. I spotted a few new kiddie rides, mostly the spinning variety, were also added wherever they could fit!
Slimestreak was running no different than my previous visits. Would recommend for the view around the park. Timmy's Half-Pipe Havoc has one car that seems to spin more than other. Definitely pick that one for the better ride. Shredder didn't spin too much but I really enjoyed the layout as it travels around the Shellraiser track.
All and all, it was nice to walk around Nick Universe and see what's changed. It was great to talk to Patrick for a little bit! Hope to be back before too long to ride Shellraiser and Sandy's Blasting Bronco!

We’re really lucky to have this as option in NJ when the weather isn’t behaving. My cousin and her kids were visiting from Norway last summer and we had plans for Great Adventure but it was a downpour so we went to Nickelodeon Universe.
Yea, for sure it's a great option to have!

Yea without the headliner coasters there was much for me to do besides go bug Patrick
Been waiting for all the coasters to be operational before I make that long trip from Northeast Pa. to darn near NY.
I didn't think it would be such a rare occurrence. Hopefully closer to the peak season they'll all be running 🤞
