I recently bought this for RM1050. It came with an i5-8350u, 16GB / 256GB specs. Unfortunately the seller put in a single stick RAM so now I have to buy another stick to run in dual channel mode. Also more unfortunate, the seller pre-installed the laptop with cracked software so I had to download the recovery image from Lenovo and reinstall Windows 10 via usb myself. Besides that, it's been a very good experience so far. Loving the keyboard.
Congratulations on your purchased. atleast it 16gb mine is 8gb. i would prefer the 16gb ram single stick so that i can buy another 16gb and make it 32gb. also mine received with windows 10 full of cracked software. i immediately formate it and fresh install windows 11.
@@ZaimAfham Yesterday I undervolted the processor by -115 mV and saw a performance boost by 5-15% in benchmarks. Meaning that the chip can now maintain higher frequencies for longer. I also noticed that something keeps sending BD_PROCHOT and causing the chip to throttle despite having low temperatures as shown in HWMonitor so I eventually disabled it. The laptop performs very well now even on battery and it lasted me about 6+ hours on a single charge on RUclips and Facebook today. The battery has 14% wear btw. If you haven't done so, give it a try. I used Throttlestop to do the undervolt.
depend on what you want to use. it still can do photoshop, animate smoothly. its not fastest but good. thinkpad laptop also known for its durability so maybe it can last for many years. and the battery last 3-4 hours on continuous usage.
laptop ini dipemakaian normal bisa 65-75 derajat tetapi dibuat windows update bisa hingga 87 derajat, kira kira itu aman atau ada kendala gak sih? dan juga kalau dicharge keadaan mati/dingin, body engsel/sudut layar kalau dipegang bisa kena sengat listrik kira kira itu rusak?
Is it same performance as t480 with same procie and ram? And why is t480 cost higher considering its not foldable and dont have touchscreen, thanks for d answer
Hi! We're going to buy this laptop from the same link. How did you manage to get 12 GB of RAM and the 256 GB WD NVMe SSD? Did you request the upgrades from the seller or you did the upgrades by yourself?
Sorry, this laptop is not intended to be used as gaming. It can handle everything that uses cpu power and little editing. But for gaming uses a device with a dGPU. Even valorant only 40fps on low.

Is this laptop sufficient enough for music production? I use DAW like lmms and there would be plenty of plugins running at one time.
It can run most of the program. Including two vm at same time. But the cpu is okay. Not fast but okay.
