As tantalizing as it is to see a 6' 10" wingspan on a 6' 3" guard, Rollins clocks in at a pretty slight 180 pounds. He's close to George Hill (a combo) in size and Rajon Rondo (a true PG), and that's about his ceiling (PER of around 15 or 16 for both of those players). IF he reaches it. He's got a good jumper and the dunk was amazing, as is his ability and tenacity on D, but a star is someone who is going to get you 20 PER. Those guys above averaged about 10 points a game. As a back up PG, if he could do that and dish a bit, he's a solid rotation piece. If he ends up a starter one day, and can score closer to 15 or 20, I might say he's a star. The potential is there, but the shoulder injury is proof that he could stand to add another 10 or 15 pounds, which also looks to be about the max his frame could carry (he won't get as big as Jrue, for example). PS--Let's try not to forget that last night's game was also mostly our JV against a JV team that is in rebuilding mode. They may have had more starting caliber players on the floor, but both are 19 year old rookies. PPS--DUDE, he was absolutely NOT better than Wright. Wright played with the worst units and was +21 in only 17 minutes. He's a beast on D and if you watch his eye movement and rotations, he's never out of position on that end (and is a MUCH better ball handler and has a bigger frame and isn't as easily harassed bringing the ball up the floor). Rollins played with the best available players on the roster and was the only starter in the negative, with a terrible -10 box and 3 turnovers in 31 minutes. In his one other game with big minutes he also had a terrible number of TOs. AJ Green also didn't have the bad game you suggest. He played 31 minutes of tough, physical, aggressive D, had only one foul, NO TOs, TWO steals and filled up the rebound and assist columns as well (and his effective shooting was 3/7, which isn't all that bad). You are very superficially analyzing the data and have a lot to learn about efficiency and what's going on on the defensive end. Where Bobby isn't great and Pat is awful. They're still our weakest links and a great showing like this (and even a few minutes for Pat prior) are what are going to make them have more value on the market soon).
