The teams that make decisions based on advanced metrics don't like Tyler Anderson. His 2.81 ERA is misleading. His FIP is much higher at 4.53. His fastball is bad, his breaking balls and his breaking balls are mediocre. His K's are low, his walks are high and he doesn't get batters to chase. You combine all that with his salary and it'll prevent most teams from wanting him at all, let alone giving up any decent prospects for him.
