@@languageoffootball what I'm saying is, the OP claims that the 115 charges include allegations of referee bribery. They don't. But Man City definitely have dubious links to the referees. The UAE competition that Michael Oliver and his usual gameday assistants were flown into earlier in the season, was sponsored by a company with direct links to the City ownership. Oliver pocketed 20k to referee a game there. And then *coincidentally*, all of his clangers this year have benefited Man City. So there's a blatant conflict of interest that potentially influenced his decision making this season.
City fans can cry all they want, but it's their own club's fault that they create so many questions in the first place.

Of course it's tarnished. Everyone knows there's no way a championship club like city in 2008 can spend crazy money like they did without committing financial frauds. If they don't get punished, then it's over for the pl, just reiterates the fact that pl is the most corrupt league in the world. It's a sad day for football. Can't even imagine how the Liverpool fans would be feeling, bcoz they've been robbed of atleast 3 pl titles? As an arsenal fan, I am starting to feel it now...

What’s even more sad about the City situation is the media’s complete and utter lack of actually explaining to the populace what the charges mean in whole, the different grouping of the charges, why there are so many, why the situation is so vastly different to those of NF and Everton. But they don’t and the question is why? Lazy? Purpose-driven?
