Ok, this is confusing. Am I understanding correctly that #2 is undergoing a 15th year periodic inspection which will realistically require some level of repair or replacement. What is the expected timeframe of the rebuild? surely not 15 years as some comments seem to imply.
@@lancebuckhammer7270 2013 to 2020 is only 7 years so IF 15 years is some kind of rule then something must have come up or she should have been good for 8 more years
@@frankrawson594 Yeah, really. I know I rode behind it in 2009. I believe that is an old video anyway because i have already seen it a while back. Plus notice how Death Valley Lumber Company has not replied to my comment, LOL!
I’m a train enthusiast and if she was rebuilt only 7 year’s ago there has to be a problem otherwise an inspection shouldn’t take that long.that’s just my opinion.
Great video!
Was April 2021 the last month it ran before it’s 1472?
Yo sick video man!
Foamers. Foamers everywhere.
Is it going to go through a restoration or being put on display
15 year rebuild
@@DeathValleyLumberCompany ah I see that normally happens after 15 years of running a steam engine
@@DeathValleyLumberCompany Then how come it was rebuilt in 2013? I seen it torn apart for myself!
@@lancebuckhammer7270 I don’t think they did a 1472 rebuild then, otherwise the flue time would have been extended.
Well, I have the newsletters from then so I will have to revist that.

Yes, because I recall it was disassembled in 2013 for the same reason. In fact I saw first hand it was disassembled!
