- Tripoli Burning: What a fire brigade can tell you about a city. Three years after the revolution in Libya overthrew Gaddaffi, the oil rich country had two rival governments and armed groups battling for control. Embedded with fire fighters, Seyi Rhodes went to the capital, Tripoli, to see the problems up close.
This channel is so underrated
Nice to see great piece of journalism. Very informative and quite inspirational. My respect to these firemen.
And the reporter too👌
God bless these fire fighters working in such a dangerous situation. The sad thing is they are inured to it and are getting blamed for doing good. Good job unreported world for giving us raw information.
thank you for helping to get their voices out, I hope the people in the video are ok
Please consider adding subtitles (or at least enabling user-added subtitles) for your hard of hearing/deaf viewers. As well as this, these documentaries attract a global audience, many of which are not native english speakers and I am sure adding english subtitles would make this series more accessible to these users too. Thank you for this very educational series.
there are subtitles, press cc button on bottom right of screen
@@imevil974 Auto generated though. It is not very reliable
I really love unreported world. You make us know what's going on in this world. Congrats guys
Thank you for the insightful video. Big respect for the fire fighters working so hard to stop the situation from worsening. i hope the situation settles in the area.
As a Brit who’s lived in Libya most my life, before and after revolution i know it’s truly a beautiful place, and I love it there and hope to go back soon. It’s nice to see something positive about the country for once. I’m only 19 so most my life was spent there and it’s heartbreaking to constantly only see bad news about a country because of things a couple of Libyans have done. When there’s a whole country of good people there too ❤️
bronte richardson how did you end up living in Libya?
El dee my father worked for a engineering company over there, he’d been there for a long time before I was born though
El dee he was mostly selling cars, not part of the engineering part
love from a libyan whos lived outside for all his life.
I'm 19 and I've just moved to Tunisia alone. I'm interested in bringing cars over and selling them to Libyans, Tunisians and Algerians. How can I get in touch with you and your dad? WhatsApp me, +216 9 555 4 172
Love, Ivan
It’s nice to see something good and positive these men are brave and seem very nice people best wishes to you all 👍🏻🇬🇧🏴❤️
The Firefighters are the heroes of real life!!
Seems like a nice bunch of people 😊 Goodluck guys 👏❤️
Glad they’re uploading again
I hope to one day be a reporter and report on stuff like this! Even if I risk my life in the process. This channel is super underrated!
Great job again Sheyi! #bravery
NOT ALL HEROS WEAR CAPES
I can't get enough of Seyi Rhodes' work
Amazing and real Unreported World
The best Chanell watching it make me fear for your life I was so scared that’s at some point you will be kidnapped it is not easy to be a journalist
#StaySafe
The us Gov is responsible for the turmoil of Libya. Khadafi was killed because he refused to have a central bank and trade the U.S. dollar. He wanted to unite all africa
I like the UW-documentaries, but it's hard to tell when they are made. The reporter is talking about riots in August, but the video is uploaded in July.
Come to borneo there is many firefighter battle with forest fire every year without payment.
Interesting as always. Respect to all these brave people and special thanks to Seyi.. isn’t he handsome 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I loved when the cheif was showin off his 🏅 an the young fire fighter was like hes old its our turn now. An the reporter was like have some respect. Yes have respect young man
In Libya they joke a lot, so this is was a joke
Gaddafi was trying to unite Africa so it wouldn't have to rely on the colonizer he did not run a police state.
They miss Gen.Gadaffi for sure .
I bet they do. They had stability with him. Now look.
That fire chief is not just a local boss, but a leader🔥… you can see his shine or what I call a bit of his glory…and now he is globally known
"My wife never calls me at work."
"She doesn't miss you. She's praying you die." 😂😂😂😂😂
we thought it was a revolution but it backfired on us" the firefighter sums it all
"We went on strike for 2 months but noone noticed" damn, that's like anyone blocking me on social media.
Great Job
good job guys
The spotlessly clean generator starts a fire engulfing the shop to an unrecognizable state 🤔🤔🤔🤔
ONE QUESTION. After watching your videos, it turns to be a big question in my head. how do I get a chance to be a reporter for one of the news of UW?. Actually, I've been dreaming to be a reporter for decades, but its hard to get an opportunity. Its not about money, pularity, or anything packed in pragmatism. I just want to share the idea, feel what the other people feeil, and make a better world. I hope.
it is highlighted, means an immense luck will be arrived in short. hehe
Like the fireman said, the militia aren’t helping anyone. It is the poor Libyans who suffer for their farcical power plays. Tragic.
Anyone who in this day and age calls the illegal Nato bombing and coup on a sovereign nation's head of state "a revolution" immediately killed whatever credibility it had left.
seyi rhodes is so cool
This is what happens when you overthrow a regime and got no lasting solution. Iraq, anyone?
I can't imagine ems in this situation.
Wow you need a gun to get some petrol? Looks like the revolution really worked.🤣
Hummm....was waiting for you to do a Lybian slavery documentary. Shame.
Sad state of affairs.
What happened to the reporter? In this video he is walking but newer ones he is in a wheel chair
Two different reporters
Fucking oil fucking money , those people are victim of this.
Rip legend Gadafi
❤❤❤
what revolution? what coalition? RUBISH.
this video is so depressing
good to see you make this report. .. the world must know what situation the Libyans live in.. thanks to NATO and its companions.. the leaders who ordered NATO should be face criminal court for this
Right its also Nato people shooting every night? Guess What the people were given a Chance. They showed their true color
'Revolution'
this is filmed in 2014
damn does allergies
The fire fighters should have guns lmao every false alarm would be one militia less
Peoples revolution. More like global cabal scum lords of hell...
It's just going to get even worse as electric cars become more common in the west. I'm also wondering how long their oil can last.
17:57 It was good to see those blokes laughing for once. They deserve it.
At 19:00 you hear the trucks sirens...yet earlier in the video the claimed to have none or use them at all.....can someone explain
adrian simental from what I understood, it was that one fire truck where the siren wasn't working.. and the things he referred to as not having at all was equipment like helmets and masks.
No overdub - Automatic dislike
Hola
They need brutal dictatorship guy again. The only way.
West created the problem LOL
All this becuse of you people
Nice joke

In a few words- if you don't do what I say, I will break you......by the way I represent DEMOCRACY..
guess who?
Ladies and gentleman the winner is.......USA
so they didn’t like police regime and toppled Khaddafi but now the miss good ol days? my my... look at that. after western “merciful” hand Kaddafi doesn’t sound that bad right? I used to live in Bengazi it was si beautiful. if people brought it upon themselves they have no right to complain.
