That $11k M-Edition does have a radio, they just came with radio covers so they weren’t stolen and just clip right on top of the actual radio. Not very common to see now, like most trim pieces on older jdm cars.

@@CollectorCarFeed so the fuel pump gasket was siliconed on missing majority of the screws on it, replaced dash but done very poorly, wrong battery size so it was hanging out, engine was swapped, motor mounts were shot, oil leaks galore(front main, oil pan and rear main), repainted baby blue which wasn't bad as the green but definitely a bad job Everything was done poorly and the major things were overlooked for comestic stuff Overall bad deal for 5k But I'm happy I got it only for all the experience I'm learning about fixing cars

Counterpoint to the headlights up: flipping them up and down too much wears them out and then you have to fix them, they help with placing the car when driving in traffic, and pop up headlights look best when up, period.

miata is not an affordable car. I haven't watched the full video yet, but it's not affordable. 10 to 15k is almost a year's salary where I live; most of them are gutted and have rough miles. 2.5k is affordable but those are unicorn finds.
Miatas still aren't "rare" they made a metric shit ton of them even M editions are 3000 or more depending on color. As this covid pricing is cooling down we shall see the $3500 Miata days again I foresee. Even here in California I still see deals popping up relatively often as Im always looking. But relatively compared to 240SXs MR2s supras etc the Miata is still "cheap" albeit for what some of the crackheads are asking definitely not worth it anymore.
