My son has a 28 in drop 8 Axe origin. It actually weighs 22.2 ounces. Axe bat claims it supposed to swing like a drop 10. Now his swing mechanics are better with the axe handle, and he make good contact. Id imagine if it was an actual 20 ounces the bat speed would be better.
Jason Spring I agree, we really wanted to get the drop 10 packs baseball bats, they were supposedly coming out in February, I suspect they will miss the entire Little League season this year and come out in the winter or fall. Definitely a bummer to miss out.
The readings on the axe bat are not going to be accurate because the sensor has to be inline with the barrel. Because the knob is angled on the axe bat the readings are going to be off.
I agree and have noticed the same thing. My son loves the axe, however when we use the sensor, it shows sometimes a reading of 10 mph slower than the previous swing and the numbers are all over the place
Brian Lee Axe Bat had very little vibration when we did live hitting on this bat. On this particular test, using tennis balls for the speed test, can’t really comment on vibration for the Easton bat.
Swing looked a lot better with the Axe bat. Seemed to labor with the Easton even though it was 2 oz lighter.

Probably because when you put it on the scale you put force on the bat handle with your hand.
Use axe avenge one same exact weight as easton

How did your hitter report feel upon contact--vibration/sting, general feedback from ball? Thanks for the info!

I bet if you weighed that Easton yourself it doesn't weigh what the sticker says it does.
Next time need to be same drop weight too Cmon man
Just happened to be the two 31" bats we had...
What pitching machine did u use
PS-Sportsgamer my arm :)
Bat was too long for the boy he needs a 30in bat that too will add more bat speed👍try that. Speed=power
Resistance speed would be different with a baseball over tennis ball
Patrick Fletcher Since we are looking at bat speed, it doesn’t really matter what you hit, it measures speed at impact of any object.
Looked like bats were to heavy for him.
