We are over the moon that Diego is safely here, at his forever home, and we are incredibly proud of all our team and also the public who helped us get here by donating to Diego’s cause.
From watching the heart wrenching tears on those that cared for Diego in Sweden - at the thought of losing him forever - to him now being here at his forever home, we can’t explain the joy.
We have worked with an incredible team of experts, and we are all so excited to get to know him, providing him with world class care and a living environment. Not only is this a milestone for us but it helps us educate the public on the role of brown bears in the ecosystem.
Thank you to @wildwood_devon for stepping in to accommodate Diego, in Devon, by offering him a place to sleep.
Diego’s story is one of hope, strength and unwavering commitment to save the life of a bear whose time was running out. We are delighted to welcome you to see Diego from 28th March.
