David, fabulous performance as usual! When I attend recitals at SJD I always sit near the back of the Crossing (close to Doug Hunt - of course) since that location provides the best balance between the organ and the 10 second acoustic. I can't wait for the return of 150B!

Where has this console been hidden all this time?
The organ to the right of the main organ is four Manuel's.

... from the St John the Divine website: "On April 14, 2019, Palm Sunday, a minor fire in our crypt resulted in smoke and detritus in the Cathedral, which has temporarily silenced our pipe organs. Until they are cleaned, we are blessed to have use of the finest electronic organ available. The instrument, by Walker Technical of Pennsylvania, has a digitally sampled Æolian-Skinner sound palette and a highly evolved and specific audio support system. We will be using this Walker organ for at least the next year. As more information regarding the cleaning of the Great Organ becomes available, we will be posting it here!"

I am impressed with the sound of this electronic organ.
Question, just how many speakers are required to fill such a huge space?
The organ housed in St.John the Divine and National Cathedral have an unmistakable sound that sets them apart from other pipe organ.

How much wind pressure is required to support the organ's Ophicleide?
