Insane skills. And such adventurous and creative play. My hope is that Alcaraz can bring this spirit - along with his power and speed - to the singles game and take it all the way to the top.
If you hit the ball and ball touches the net can you the second time before it lands on the ground? We see this a lot in volleyball, and at this moment (at 3:02) the player tried to hit the ball second time, is this legal?
He didn't hit it twice - as he was trying to hit it, the ball clipped the net and changed trajectory so he swung and missed, but then managed to hit it (for the first time).
Up until the 2nd set tie-break Mektic/Pavic looked unbeatable, then Ram/Salisbury ran away with the match, and deservedly so. Hope they win tomorrow.
Got to love doubles. It showcases their all-round talent more than singles.
Doubles is fantastic! It's a disgrace what has been done to the scoring.
I'm impressed that the level of excitement and intense playing is coming out in games now. Good matches.
Pavic's tweener lob was pretty ridiculous.
there were so many lobs
what a match between mektic and salisburys teams , wawww
I’ve a feeling Rajeev Ram will be rocking it at the court even at his 50s. Unstoppable!
It’s hard to imagine anyone beating this French team at the moment. All the same, rooting for Salisbury and Ram in the final.
Bit weird to say it's hard to imagine anyone beating them when Ram/Salisbury have already beat them in this tournament lol
They were equalizing their recent lost but they’re better team
Ram/Salisbury so hype. I love the energy they bring to the court
Seeing Herbert play doubles makes me wish more singles players would do the same. It can’t but help their singles game, right? Great match 👍🏾
Look at McEnroe - great singles player, great doubles player.
@@martydav9475 exactly who I was thinking of. And look how long ago that was!
Salisbury’s athleticism is insane
Taken over from Jamie Murray as the number one British doubles player and ousted Murray from the British Davis Cup team.
Men's doubles also should have third set instead of tie breaker
Insane skills. And such adventurous and creative play. My hope is that Alcaraz can bring this spirit - along with his power and speed - to the singles game and take it all the way to the top.
Wow what a shot at 0:36
Tienen que jugar a 3 sets ganar 2 este torneo, semejante nivel de tenis no puede definirse en un super tiebreak en sets iguales.
Lobs were abused in this match , they worked well for ram and joe
How is the semifinal the 1 vs 2 seeds?
Semi-finals pit the winners of one group (Ram/Salisbury) against the runners-up (Mektic/Pavic) of the other group.
It’s not the same format as a regular tournament since there only 8 teams to begin with
That dude is absolutely right
@@hg82met yea tru
They were in different groups so its good
Salisbury needs more tan..:))
The court seems huge. Could almost fit another court !
If you hit the ball and ball touches the net can you the second time before it lands on the ground? We see this a lot in volleyball, and at this moment (at 3:02) the player tried to hit the ball second time, is this legal?
no in tennis its just 1 hit then that's it unfortunately
He didn't hit it twice - as he was trying to hit it, the ball clipped the net and changed trajectory so he swung and missed, but then managed to hit it (for the first time).
@@hg82met my bad. you are right.
lets go ram
🇫🇷🇫🇷
Hope the Frenchmen win the final!
Glad pavic/metic got what they deserved.
Why?
We'll see- if the Hindu God's answer Ram's prayer tomorrow!
Obviously not, bad luck Ram, maybe the French deserved the blessings this time, as did Zverev.
