    Yum! You could save a some cooking water in case you need to thin out the sauce a bit.

      The cooking water is not to thin out the sauce, it is to use the starches from the pasta to create a creamy sauce that sticks to the pasta

    Pine nuts can get expensive- could another type of nut be used?

      gigi25* i like to use walnuts instead when i make pesto, cashews could work too? Never tried it though

    Did you use fresh or frozen peas? Did you cook the peas you dont say!
