Thank you. No this one is genuine from Opel. The bars that touch the car are rubberized. I took it off after 2 weeks and there were no scratch but only some dirt which was easily cleaned.
it does not come assembled like that, and never do this on your own or you will scratch the fuck out of your rooftop, and yes that first one had to be in the back and the wrong way arround, rtfm.
It has a rubber but yeah after years of use it will destroy the paint. It hasn't yet. And I have used it for 2 years. Totalt 3 months where it was mounted.

The "clamp" system it is the shittiest system by far for a roof rack....It will ruin the car paint.
